I like that you don't erase all the skin texture like in so many of the other tutorials. I hate air brushing. This is way more realistic.

Anyone would have idea why this method does not work anymore on the latest photoshop? 😢 Used this method couple months back, got superb results, but now the brush just sharpens the wrinkles

I followed this perfectly but at the last step of using brush to paint away the scars, the brush did nothing, like the other gentleman commented. Any help would be appreciated.

The only difference I see on my screen versus your screen is after you create the layer mask and hit command I for invert, your cursor is a little arrow and mine is a circle. You left something out.
