Dude, a million thanks for this video! You helped me save my 35-year-old Adidas jacket and I greatly appreciate it! It's a big plastic zipper, so I didn't have to use a knife, just my fingers to keep the teeth aligned.. something I had not thought of. I appreciate you very much!! 👍

Thanks for your video. I was able to fix a stuck zipper that wouldn't unzip going tooth by tooth, patiently and gently, but firmly, wiggling, watching and aligning the next teeth as best I could after progressing with each tooth. Turned out I didn't need to apply any makeshift lubricants. That would have been my next step. It took about 15 minutes. What I would recommend is be patient, and think of it as a tooth-by-tooth wiggly-process.

I thought the comment of magically zipper working were sarcastic. But boy I really just watched this video and suddenly my stuck zip indeed got unstuck even without following anything in this video. You sure have magical powers bro.

You just saved my life dude! The only down jacket I had was zipped in the middle when I was cycling home; jacket got hooked into the rear side of the seat while trying to stand and stop. The closed half of the zipper POPPED open and now I had a zipper open on both ends. Anyway, didn't expect a box cutter could do the trick, now I won't be freezing my a$$ walking to work.

Okay okay I'm going to go get this bag with the zipper that's broke. If it works then I won't really know what to say. Because it ain't jammed like these ones.... More along the lines It is welded... So if this thing zips up, then I think you must use your powers for better purposes lol
