Thanks so much! I spent two whole days trying everything with my Canon MG3640. At first paper would not feed at all, then I cleaned rollers with alcohol and the paper would grab forcefully and get jammed and crunch up inside the printer, so I had to open the back and had to keep removing it. A thin folder totally did the trick, I couldn't believe it and put it through 3 times and it worked each time with some noises from the printer. Tried paper and it worked as well! Not printing some lines very well even after cleaning procedures so going to get new ink cartridges as I havent printed in a while. Thanks so much for your successful advice, much appreciated!

Thankful for this vid, cause I couldnt figure out why my last one didnt work and bought a new one when it started to eventually do it, but finding this really helped to fix the issue i had with both so that i wouldnt have to buy a new one.

There may be a small piece of paper broken off in the printer. Check thoroughly and run cardboard through printer several times.

I have the Canon MG2522. And it wouldn't feed the paper. I tried this method, and it resolved the problem. Thank you.

It helped, had jammed paper problem so I place the piece of cardboard from a notebook and a key ring came out 😳 Idk how it got there but, it solve the problem 😊 thanks

Thisss lol I just bought more ink and another printer thinking it was a complete lost was ready to toss the 2nd one out the window too then I saw this comment I used the back of an old notebook too but tore of the edges with the ring thinking that would help saw this and used the other backing with the rings on and it came out like a charm thanks to you both for this!!!

The cardboard trick helped me dislodge an ice cream stick (don’t ask how it got there 😅) that was jamming the printer and now it prints perfectly. Thanks 🙌

paper/cardboard might be too thick. Plus, read your manual and place printer into cleaning mode.

does cardstock paper work?

do you know how to fix one side paper feeding issue? I have Canon TS3329

If you've got an error code flashing, (mine is flashing P10) you CANNOT get anything to feed through the paper feed!

Holy crap! I was doing everything looking everywhere! There was a piece of dog food in the feeder. Doh 🤦‍♂️

Help! It only pulls the paper or cardboard a 1/4inch or so and has no pull. Maybe a gear is broken. I did pull out a juice box straw wrapper. But nothing else is in there.

Dry cleaning the rollers with rubbing alcohol
