I honestly wished this man did every "DIY" video on KZread.! I appreciate the thoroughness and knowledge that this gentleman shared. It was very informative and detailed. I thank you for that sir. But more importantly Im appreciative of his proper use of our english vocabulary. Because lords that some of these "KZreadrs" need it bad. Thank you once again.

Thank you for your kind words. Have a great day :)
Excellent indeed, I get the impression you have does this repair a few times. Another thing I noticed was how clean and organized your work space is. Sure hope this company is paying you what you are worth. Outstanding video in it's presentation and content.
Thank you ! Finally someone without a big ego just showed how to fix it without all the talk talk talk talk talk talk talk! Drives me crazy. I watched this and know what to do inside of an hour or less. Thank you Single mom trying to do her own repairs .limited budget and need to DIY these days! very happy to have finally found the right video!
Mine is the same make and model and the same problem shown on the video. I used the same fixing methods described and my pressure washer is back in action. Thanks eReplacement and most of all to Mark for creating the video.
You guys really do a professional job of a top to bottom overhaul of all the equipment you show in your videos...You're the gold standard for small engine repair videos.
This is an incredible video ... Every detail clearly outlined, with advice along the way including proper lubricants to use with clarification of why the portions of the disassembly and reassembly is being performed. I have this power washer and already had replaced the loader valve, but did so without the pump removal. I found getting the valve out easiest by simply giving the pump a crank after removing the housing holding it in place. It pops out after pulling the cord once our twice. My problem right now is that the detergent suction doesn't work. I'm going tio carefully take it apart, and inspect the o-ring, spring, gaskets and check valve. I think possibly only lubrication and cleaning is needed ... But if that doesn't do it, I'll order the kit. Awesome video! Thank you for your time and expertise! Rick
Great Video. I have been using my Karcher pressure washer for 4 years by having to disconnect the nozzle and then putting it back on to build pressure. I had no idea this was / is an issue. I have already ordered the new part along with a couple of O-rings for the wand assembly and a new water filter.Ya gotta love You Tube.Cheers
Clear and helpful. I wish I could bring my pump to his shop for service!
Nice video, refreshing to see a thought out, well edited video instead of something posted that was unsuccessful and unprofessional.
Thanks for this video- My Dad is 58 and I pushed Play for him and it really helped him out. Great Video! Very Helpful!
Great job! Thank you. This instructional video, for me, is perfect. Exactly what I was looking for and needed!
Thanks for helping me prepare for a job interview!
Thank you for posting this video, I had a problem with my pressure washer pump, I cleaned all of my valves, but did not know that the "re-loader valve" was a part that commonly fails, so I will inspect and replace that, if needed, ASAP. Also, thanks for mentioning what parts of the re-loader valve to and not to grease!
These two videos saved me a trip to a repairer! Thanks so much
Whoops. Me again.. browsed and browsed the comments - and found reference to 15w-30. THANKYOU...I have a pump to tackle beginning this week. THANKS for making this video and making it available to everyone !!!!!!!!!!!! Just great.... appreciated more than I can say. TY
Very helpful demonstration of the overhaul procedure of the pump. I have same pressure washer with exact problem. Thank you for sharing your expert knowledge as you show in your video.
Hi There, I have the same problem with my karcher pressure washer. I am so impressed with your plain and simple explanation on your video. Even if I take it to a repairman now I know what the problem is and what sort of repair they are talking of. I am thankful to you for giving an excellent step by step illustration of solving the problem with my washer. I am going to try it as I enjoy doing this sort of job. Keep on doing your good educational services. Well done. Dr.Pon Sivaji
Excellent video. I had no clue how these worked but now I think I could repair one. Thanks. I know lots of times these just get thrown out or left to sit because folks have no idea that they can be repaired relatively easy.
Exellent instructions. Very detailed. Great job!
This was great info. I bought a Karcher at a yard sale for $20. When I powered it up, I discovered that the pressure was very low. So I put it in my shed and basically forgot about it. That was 7 or 8 years ago. Last week, I followed the instructions in this video and now have a perfectly working washer. All for 20 bucks!

Wes Thurman Great find! Glad we could help you save some money.
Very helpful! Exactly what I needed to fix my pressure washer - the same model you worked on in the video. Many thanks Paul
Helpful video. Easy to follow. Good camera angles. Thank you.
Mark, I started to pull my Sears washer apart and oil came out. I came in the house to find a KZread video but my internet was down. I got my internet problem fixed today and watched both Pt1 & pt2. Thanks for posting your repair procedure. I'll have to look at the parts breakdown to see where my unloader is. I did buy an o-ring kit as water was leaking out the housing but I've had intermittant pressure problems with my unit until it just about quit like your video, thanks again/Mike
Well done. I am having a different issue however, found both tutorials extremely helpful as my Karcher G 2600VH has the exact same pump on it. Wish I knew about the oil before I loosened the four (4) bolts. My pump mounts vertically vice horizontally as shown in the video. Will know for next time when I go to disassemble the pump. Keep up the great work.
Thanks. Very helpful and good video technique also. Will watch it several times before I take mine apart.
Great tutorial! Question: How often should I if ever, I take apart my pressure washer pump for cleaning and maintenance?
Appreciate all this info...Just took my pump all apart and had to find out how much oil I should add into the housing before reassembly. Great inof indeed...Thanks again
Excellent video. I think my pump has the exact problem. Thanks for showing me how to fix it.
yes I agree very excellent video. looks like you guys will be my go to guys when I need something for the pressure washers.
All your video's are very informative. I've bought parts from you in the past and all have worked out quite well. I'll keep watching your info video's, thanks for you help.
Thanks for a comprehensive instruction video. My pump is very similar so this will be a great help.
Excellent video! Thanks for taking the time to show us how to fix our pressure washer.
Explained very easily to understand. This will be very helpful to me in the future as I have a pressure washer that has a couple of years. Now I know what could be the problem in the future......Thank You So Much.
very great instruction and demo videos. I run into a similar problem with a different brand PowerBoss190 3000 psi & 2.5 gpm, I am having difficulty to open the pump housing. Hopefully get the right tool and will fix the problem following this video. Many thanks to Mark!
Excellent repair video. It really helps when people explain "why" they are doing something. Thanks!
very helpful information and good presentation. I believe I can now attempt to repair my washer.
Thank you Mark and eReplacement Parts for putting out these vids. I sure learn alot about water pumps.
love your videos, you always make it look so easy it tends to inspire people and give us encouragement and makes us less nervouse to try some of the repairs we generally would dare to attempt, thank you so much.
You are great skilled and patient person. I feel comfortable tackling my pressure washer problem. Thank you.
Your a good teacher, very well explained and easy to understand.
Yes was very good, a good understanding on parts identification and disassembly and reassembly thanks now off to my repair.
Great video and very well demonstrated, keep up the good work !!
Outstanding video tutorial. Exactly what I needed to fix my problem. I have two comments that may help out other viewers. I could not for the life of me get the unloader valve out of the housing with needle nose pliers or even needle nose vise grips. It just would NOT pull out. There is a much easier way to get it out. HOW TO REMOVE A STUBBORN UNLOADER VALVE: Before removing the pump from the engine, unscrew and remove the white plastic housing from above the unloader valve. Lay a towel over the opening of the unloader valve. With the garden hose hooked up to the pressure washer, turn on the water. Start the engine. The water pressure will blow the unloader valve out of the its housing. The towel is there to stop the unloader valve from flying up and slamming into the cart frame. It works like a champ and will save you hours of cursing your needle nose pliers like I did. WHAT TYPE OF OIL TO USE IN THE PUMP The video does not mention what type of oil to use. My pressure washer is the same model as the one in the video: Karcher K2400HH. It uses Karcher 15W40 (Part # 6.288-050.0) but you can use any Non-Detergent Non-foaming 15w40 Pump Oil. I hope this helps others. Again, outstanding job on the video.
Excellent, great detail. I have seen enough in this one video that I believe I could repair my own pressure washer. I'm not expert but do have small engine repait skills. It's really nice knowing what I am going to be facing once I get in there.
Mark, you're awesome. Thought my parents pressure washer was shot, but after watching your video, I'm almost certain I can fix it for them. Thanks a bunch.
Great vid! Love seeing the inside of things...occasionally BEFORE I take them apart, often after I've already screwed something up!
Great Video! Extremely useful in troubleshooting a PW pump.
outstanding I have replace the spill valve and cleaned the pump still have the same problem before I started. my pump was doing the same thing as yours in the start.
Nice job Mark ! Without a doubt this is the best pressure washer repair video that I have ever seen . eReplacement Parts is simply awesome 😎

Great and very clear video... thanks again. I have the same model... the seal was deteriorated in the reservoir. I hope he didn't run it too long without oil. It was not totally dry.
Great set of videos on washer repair/mtc.

@jobetcourt Thanks! We appreciate you watching and commenting on our video! -Mark
Excellent Video! Thank you very much. Very informative. Please keep up the good work.
excellent tutorial that help us understand all the internal work of a pressure pump, would you comment on the other two possibilities for loss or intermittent pressure!
VERY VERY HELPFUL, THANKS.
It makes me understand more about pressure washer pump. Really appreciate!
Thanks, very informative ! One small detail I might add is that I like to wipe a thin film of never seize on the crank prior to re-installing the pump...Next person to take it apart will thank you !
Thanks for the mini course. Appreciated!
wow that was excellent mechanical explanation voice and video very clear...thank you and god bless
@dougostey The primary part that was replaced was the Unloader valve. It is what was causing the no pressure condition. Occasionally you will need to replace some of the other o-rings. The valves can become pitted and need replacing but that is very rare. As a general rule when rebuilding a pump with a no pressure condition like the one shown you will need a new unloader valve, some Teflon and silicon grease and some 30wt non-detergent oil for the pump. Thanks for watching! -Mark
Very helpful video that was extremely well done. Thanks for a great job.
Very helpful and takes the mystery out of a pump repair.
Thank you so much, this was the most helpful video
The demonstration was well done. It probably will save me a lot of money. There were two items I did catch you talk about. One is the gaskets that go between the major component as they go back together. The second is; what type of oil to use? Does the pump require a specific oil like the air compressors?
great helpful video thanks, James
Excellent lesson on Power Washer function, dis assembly and re assembly.
This is the exact model and exact problem I have. Thank you!
what weight oil did you use as a replacement
Fixed mine in two hours after viewing....Thanks
