I watched your video to figure out why my ATV wouldn't go into reverse, we had reversed the rods on the shifter because a different person took it apart then a month later, reassembled it. Funny what you can learn!

Sometime when I park mine it works really well and than other times it gets stick in one. I’m going to have to disassemble some stuff I guess

I also had an issue with an aftermarket belt being too tight, it made it really hard to shift gears .
i just prefer to kick it until something breaks

Idle might be too high or belt too tight. I had a dayco belt on when mine was doing it. I switched back to a polaris belt and it stopped.
I want to try this, I’m stuck in reverse… but I can’t get the shift linkages off… is there some secret? It’s just spinning and not loosening.

You can try moving it without moving the linkages but it will be easier with them off.
What year is you quad?
