No problem! If it’s just some spots, you may have some smashed cells (which, unfortunately won’t be solved by this method) but I hope it works out for you!!

I had something like this as a kid, it had 2 sides; one side was rectangle and the other side was either head or egg shaped

cool ! I will try to fix my board. It never seems clean after being erased (even immediately after being purchased). It had dark spots when it came brand new. Maybe your advice will works for my board. Thanks!

Thanks for this. The magna doodle my daughter keeps in the car just stopped erasing and yup, the magnet had come loose.

I just bought one arrived today, use to own one as a kid. Bought it again cos of Friends lol If I ever have this problem then I know what to do thanks :)

What about the Magna Doodle with the eraser that has an eraser that slides slowly? Mine was like this except it reads TYCO in place of IDEAL. The eraser and the dot stencil are red instead of orange. The stylus is white instead of orange. When slide the eraser, It moves slowly .

I never used one. Got a question, everyone. Say I buy a new one. For about how long would it work correctly if used several times daily? Will those black particles inside the white liquid (inside the board) eventually stop moving up / down to become visible / invisible?

Same as eli avila, my image keeps disappearing within seconds. It happens on the entire board. I guess that would be hard to fix since it's probably because the white liquid inside each cell is not thick enough so the magnetic particles are dropping back down within seconds?

I have this problem too. The lines just fade away after a few seconds.

You wouldn't happen to know if you could use a magnet with reverse polarity would also work as a more precisely direct eraser?

Is it the Pen that is damaged? Any magnet should work. Be careful to make sure your child isn't able to swallow whatever kind of magnet she uses.

The tip of the pen should be a very small magnet point... sorted a metal nub that sticks out from the tip of the plastic. does it seem like the magnet is still there?

What is the whitest stance inside magnetic drawing boards?

Why the companies do not produce big displays with this technology?

Mine is from 2003 and the white screen has turned yellow and won't draw, do you have any solutions ( this one doesn't have any screws)

My problem is that the actual pad that you write on has “stains” or marks that go away. The pad is composed of many little pixels and i have a lot of pixels that remains black or dark gray even when erasing. How do i fix this?

If you have cells that won’t change, I’m not sure there is a suitable repair. It probably means they’re squished in a way that causes the black dust to show against the front at all times. Sorry I don’t have an idea for you!

yeah , it happens on the entire board . when I hold it upside down , the impression is quite clear but all the dots surface too . but the writing goes away the moment it is kept the usual way.

My son lost his magic pencil nib...so what can i do?..

mine wont keep the writing on... the magnet "ink" just disappears... pleaae help my daughter loves her toy... by the way is one of those that have a book attached to it... thanks have a blessed day
