    Instead of using that marine compound, I'd put a layer of silicone in the inside corner of the bag. Flex Tape is great stuff, and you could probably make an entire DIY dry bag out of it. I gave you a thumbs up. :)

    Thx. Good idea on the inside but slicone wont hold up like marine adhesive. No on the flex tape though. After 3 months it got gooey and peeled off. Apparently pvc is something that flex tape doesn't stick too for long

    Interesting stuff and even more info in the comments. I already did mine with regular silicone, but I'm likely going to do a bead inside with marine sealant. Since the flex tape didn't like sticking for long, I'm going to try Gorilla clear tape. Not expecting miracles, but the sides of my bag are starting to wear out and I need something supple since it's close to the top.
