@@SquatUniversity I watch your videos often as I am trying to fix my squat bar path. I sometimes end up rolling forward a touch coming out of the hole and then it’s a fight from there. Leaving me with low back pain. I haven’t been able to solve this issue yet but some sessions are better than others. There are some folks in internet land that say your videos are “reaching” for lack of better words. That the issues you present are more for subs and clicks, and that one should just squat more, and then squat some more. What do you say to that? Thanks Dr. Horschig.

it's crazy how small tweaks can make a huge difference. Looks super simple but takes a lot of knowledge and experience to spot and correct the necessary things. The worst thing - these small things, if not addressed, can start a fucking avalanche of snapcity and take you out one joint at the time.

This describes my symptoms almost to a T, except add some patellar pain when during external rotation… in fact it’s my primary limiting factor on the Faber test. I’m doing the banded Spanish wall squats to help strengthen the knees, which is helping a lot. Gonna add this movement too. Thanks a lot for this channel it’s helped me tremendously

Good theory. But give the subject model credit. The initial line is off center so he is not as crooked as it makes him appear to be.

Hi Aaron, could you make a video on olympic lifting (especially the overhead positions) with unstable shoulders? Ive been going to the gym for ~1 year now and my interest in oly lifting increased over time but I have had several shoulder dislocations in the past years (all of them snapped back on their own and my shoulder joints have been quite mobile/unstable since i was born) from playing tennis, crashing on my mtb etc.. Im very uncertain if there are oly athletes with similar background stories, so a video about that would be very interesting. thanks for the great content, cheers

Any hypothesis as to why a right hip external rotation lack, caused a shift to the right when squatting? Logic would suggest that he would shift to the left to avoid compressing the dysfunctional joint.

As I understand it you’re programming the kettlebell weight shift and assisted hip airplane to aid the same issue. Are they interchangeable in your opinion or do you prescribe one over the other in certain cases?
