Seriously, this one did fix my ssd problem. I'm so confused why my ssd suddenly didn't responding after i leave my laptop on while still opening my excel work, i leave it until my laptop running out of batteries. Next time i tried to continue my work, i can't open my ssd at all it's just not responding w/o any disk sound. I tried many other methods before this but found this vid accidentally, i did chkdsk and good lord thanks it's back to normal. The problem is this laptop belong to my working company, so i kinda a little bit panic. Thanks again!

Sorry guys! Yes this is a sign your hard drive probably needs to be reformatted and windows installed. But I would try at least recovering your files by plugging it into another computer by taking the drive out

It means your boot drive is locked. You need to reboot your PC from your windows installation disk. Then go to repair my computer. Then advanced options. Go to command prompt and run chkdsk from there.

whenever i plug in my hard drive my entire laptop slows down. The only thing i downloaded on it was a couple of pictures so idk why its corrupted. I wont be able to check command prompt if i need it plugged in since it wont load

Open disk management you will find unallocated space and right click on it and create new path then choose what letter yoy want then next then you got a fix

My Windows OS is corrupted and cannot restore or rollback to a past state. When I tried to rollback, I got error 0x80070571, does this mean my Harddrive is dying?

Your hard drive might not be dying. But it’s definitely corrupted and will need to be wiped and reimaged

PLZ HELP ASAP. so i opened starfield on my gaming SSD and then blue screen. after restart i had no sign of the drive. unplugged and plugged back in. i tried a brand new SATA and nothing, tried all of these disk management refreshes and windows updates and everything in this video still to no avail. i only have my C: drive.

I would use a different connection on your motherboard. Or look for any firmware, windows or other updates by your motherboard manufacturer. Try plugging it into a different computer too so you can see if the hard drive is just bad.

@LuckyStrikeTech the drive does show up on occasions when booting in the morning and have changed cable and slot, also tested in another system and the drive is fine

it says pred fail when i typed wmic diskdrive get status i use both ssd and hdd i have windows on ssd but my hdd has problems so i think its saying ok on second line so pred fail is on hdd what does that mean how do i fix it?

Try boot clean it. It suppose to fix. It it's not then you need to get new ssd with windows init. Also avoid from updating ur pc

Managed to sort it out using secure erase on my ssd, took me straight off blue screen

It said chkdsk may run this volume if it’s dismounted first press Y to dismount

My hard disk shows up but then when i open it, it crashes my whole file explorer and when i tried to format or update the hard disk, it shows not responding and crashes the whole computer but if i unplug it none of that happens. Any fixes?

Probably the repair Center. The disk is corrupted and once plugged in for a long time, it can corrupt all the drives so lets try the repair Center.

You have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode and make sure the disk is unlocked." HOW TO SOLVE I AM SO STUCK

Uhhh you might have to wipe your hard drive. It can corrupt the boot sequence.

Could be the boot sector is busted. You will want to try booting your Pc in safe mode then running the check disk again. If that doesn’t do it , you may need to reimage it with windows 10

Windows is suggesting my drive to get scan and fix. It look normal to me, but the next boot i forgot to skip check disk, and now the hard drives contain all the data got corrupted. And i can't access the drive. Thank so much windows 😅

You’ll need to pop it into a computer that does in order up attempt any repairs that I listed. You can run the same fixes just add the drive letter for the effected hard drive

@@LuckyStrikeTechi know this is possibly unrelated but i have xbox one series s with a fairly aged 2tb seagate hdd and it did say it had a broken disc table damage when i checked and formatted but it’s problem keeps occurring so it could be it’s life span or in your case ransomware but it’s only connected to my xbox and downloads games assumingly from xbox servers so does that mean hackers put small bugs in those data streams?
