    Dude I almost threw the boots away in a fit of rage when my boa dial popped out on its own and I couldn’t get it back in. My boots should be eternally grateful to you for saving them.

    Thank you for this! I think the only way to make it more clear would be on the set of holes and designating one as the top and one as the bottom. But, this was still incredibly helpful and saved me $50 on having the ski shop do 5 minutes of easy work.

    Did you make some mistakes here? There are two BOA dials there, but why the side BOA dial is disabled?

    @@korygrant1596 Well I replaced it. It was a HUGE P.I.T.A! You have to take off the front BOA to perform the fix. Luckily the BOA company sent me 2 laces and dials under the warranty claim. My goodness the repair was terrible. Took over an hour because at first I did not want to remove the front lace. The wire kept getting hung up internally but I finally managed to run it, I had to feed it the opposite way I was initially trying to feed it. Good luck replacing yours.

    I just bought a pair of burton boots back when they did their own boa version. Both of the laces are frayed. Would I be able to buy the boa kit and replace it? They were $17

    As long as the main housings are in tact, you should be able to replace it. Double check on the BOA website.

    my ankle lace broke and I cant feed the cable around the heel something is blocking the channel. any tips?

    Sometimes the plastic Channels get blocked. Be patient and try feeding it from the other side or rotating the feeder around. Sometimes it’ll find a small opening and just start to go. It’s one of the hardest feeds.

    how hard is it to repair the boa conda?

  • @TheSkiMonster

    @TheSkiMonster

    Жыл бұрын

    The conda can be a little trickier to replace if you have a nylon lace. You may need a feeder line provided by boa to get things through the tube if you have a nylon lace. If you have a metal you can usually push it through.

    Can i replace my fabric laces with metal ones?

  • @TheSkiMonster

    @TheSkiMonster

    Жыл бұрын

    @Georgeeeeeeeee, in order to use metal cables you need plastic guides on the tongue of your boot. If you swapped out the ropes for cables you would cause too much wear on the fabric. Just be careful of where you hang your board on the lift as most of the time its the sharp board edge that does the damage. The rope laces are sweet because they can flex while you move.

    It happens, sometimes things get mucked up in there. There is a thiner tool that can be used to snake the cable through. Keep trying.
