It is just one of the possible solutions. If your wp-admin isn't accessible, you could try renaming the plugin/theme that is causing the issue. That way it won't be loaded and your WP site should be back to normal.

Hi there thanks for your videos they are awsome and helpful. I have a question about this one resolving http 500 internal server errors, as something is not clear to me. My question is: How do i activate plugins one by one when the ftp solution is used (which renames the plugin folder). If i understand well then the plugins are invisible in the WP-dashboard. In your video i only see that choosing plugins in the WP-dashboard results in an error message that the folder does not exist and no plugins are showed to activate. I do not experience any 500 error (just knocked on wood :) ) so thats not why i ask this.

My website is not wordpress website. so not able to fix this issue... i watched many videos, but still not able to fix this issue... If you can help me... i’ll be thanking you...

The title should probalby indicate that this is limited to wordpress sites. Thanks for the vid though.

I have a problem, just another that kiks you a 500 error, and that is changing the URL and the site address for your site, this completely smacks you out. So here i am walking around KZread to find a fix before i call Godaddy. please do a vid on the ability to change the url back without accessing dashboard in wp. Nice vid by the way. :)
