Hi Not related to the bike rack but could you tell me what model roof box and rails you have fitted to your van in this video please.

Very informative video thanks,but I’ve seen enough to decide I’ll buy another vw rack for my T5 which looks a much better product (it was the black that sparked my interest but I think it’s only available on the T6 version you showed, not the similar T5 version?). It just looks a bit poverty spec vs the construction of the vw rack(s).

Yes your correct sadly I don't think the black one is available for the T5 just yet.

Really useful video thanks. Comparing the original VW rack on your van and this one which one sticks out furthest from the van when folded and when this Fiamma one is set up for 4 bikes how far does it stick out from the tailgate and how far does the VW one stick out? I tow a touring caravan behind my t6 and need to know which one will be closest to my van to maximise my turning circle. Many thanks.

The fiamma one protudes from the van about 30cms - I'll measure the original VW rack when I get back to the van :0)

The VW rack is circa 37cm (folded up) apologies the two racks are in different locations so it will take a little while to measure them again whilst they're both in use.
