Should engine always be cold when you change sparkplugs
Don't we have to disconnect the battery first before doing it? Jusk asking, I'm not an expert.

Yeah i know this coming a little bit late,but i thought someone else might be thinking the same thing,so my answer could help them out too,short answer is no,as long as you are careful and don't put any of the tools you are using near the battery terminals you should be good to go.
