Thanks for posting. I have a Classic Edge 550 titanium for our little ranch. I’ve had smoke come out of a couple interesting areas on 1 occasion, but there was a weak fire with a ton of smoke-when the fire got going the issue stopped. The 550 is heating our house, water and I hooked-up our hot tub too. It’s amazing!! Have a good heating season!!

Another great video! I am trading in my eclassic 2400 on a warranty claim (leak in primary air charge tube) upgrading to a 760hdx which shipped from the factory yesterday so hopefully i will have it up and running by next week. Looks like the operating hasn’t changed much? I wonder if there was some condensation in that tube that caused the smoke/steam ill let you know if i experience anything like that .

It was the putty around the temp sensor. Soon as I molded it a bit, it stopped! Thanks for the view! I appreciate it! I’m going to do a couple more videos with how I clean it, load it, and then shut it down in the spring!

How do you like this 1 so far? I understand they don't like green wood so much?

My furnace was 9 years old. They have a matrix on what the furnace is worth every year it’s runs. I got about 35-40 percent off a new furnace.

You sure it was smoke? I’ve seen what I thought was smoke leaking out of mine, but it ended up just being moisture steaming off once all the components got hot enough to evaporate the water

Mine smelled like smoke. Once it got up to temp and I pushed the putty, it stopped.

Oh I just checked central boiler makes a classic edge gasification boiler check that one out on you tube they claim 50 percent less wood perseason.the one you have is not note is not the newer gasification boiler doing more homework on checking out what you have there .check out the gasification boiler out...

Thats a gasification boiler right .that boiler would work so much better if it was in a building out of the rain cold snow and wind agree...preheated hot combustion air is the secret to efficient way to burn wood.drawing cold air to run the boiler is a minus.haveing that inside a building would be a more better idea.and save on lots more wood consumption. Being out in the elements trying to get top efficiency is a no no.

In a perfect world, it would be better in a building but I have plans to build a garage on the future. It’s going to go right where the furnace is now.
