    Hey guys. Love the videos. I've learned a lot. You mention that the colouring is done within the hour after the pour. How long after the pour are you taking the forms off? I tried it at about one hour with 4000psi and the sides stretched out a bit. Is that normal? Do you want the top portion to still be wet when you do the sides or can you wait till it dries and blend them? Thanks!

    Hey Guys, we really enjoyed the "Off Job site" footage. (driving down the road, inside Lowes, etc). It provides a entirely different feel and slant. It was really refreshing and kind of gives us, the viewer, a little more intimate, and private perception of how you guys are in real life. FYI< is the guy shooting the video and doing most of the talking your son? Whoever, he is, please let him know that I have a 16 year old daughter who thinks he is "SOOOO CUTE & has a secret admirer in Columbia, SC!!! LOL, tell him that should make him feel good, because the only other person I've ever heard her say something like that about is a teenage Rockstar. LOL. Love the videos guys. We are totally addicted and hooked to them... Keep Posting!!!

    Sorry I think I may not have been clear. By "drive-by" I mean it would be good if you could (with the owner's permission) re-visit the site and take either a video or even some still photos and make them into a video of the finished wall after the owner has completed the job. It may be some time from now, but it's always good to see a fully completed job rather than a description of how it will look.

    Do not remember if you mentioned in the other videos but does the cap have any pitch? Curious if even needed I California? Also, how deep does the color penetrate? Great video and job as usual.

    How long after placing do you throw hardener on? Screed, float and then wait for bleed water to dry a bit?

  • @OdellCompleteConcrete

    @OdellCompleteConcrete

    6 жыл бұрын

    I like to throw color on right after bull float or hand float, The bleed water will come right in to it hopefully, Sometimes, in dry climates there may be no bleed water, in that case small does of water may be applied

    Ash White by Scofield. It's a color hardener. 5000psi and fade resistant so it should last the life of the concrete. If I understood the video correctly. kzread.info/dash/bejne/i5aFldOHgbKrg9o.html www.scofield.com/lithochrome_main.html
