This was excellent! When I'm in "the Flow", there is a force outside of me that paints through me and I can 't believe I painted what is on the canvas!! Thank you for sharing your creative journey.

Nancy....you are right ....that is flow you experienced because flow allows us to do more than we think we can....how wonderful is that!!!

Awesome video Gwen, and yes I would love to hear more about the zone and getting into a meditative state. I need to turn off the critics in my head and feel more confident in my paintings.

Yes please! I had the zone with acrylic painting. Now I’m diving into watercolor and the zone is no where to be found. Maybe not my strength but I do love it.

Yes,....that works every time so if you are being disturbed during your creativity just put that sign on your door and see what happens.....you will love it!!!

Definitely! 👍 I’ve been there many times through out my years of WC painting. I’m now working with acrylics and attempting to develop abstract works. There is no flow, I really miss it. Please share how you get into your flow.

I've been in the zone. But it seems increasingly elusive as I learn more about technique. It seemed to come easy in my earlier stages of being an artist.
