bro in my book it was saying that that the fixed coefficient and the main one like the factors that are shared between them must only be +/-1 and nothing else And it’s confusing me? What if those numbers were like 2 and 12 What do I do now?

The rule of synthetic division is that the degree of the quotient is always 1 lesser than the degree of the polynomial. Kung x³ ang degree ng polynomial then x² and degree ng quotient

x^2+9x+20 You gotta look for 2 numbers that when multipled equal 20 and when added equal 9 So basically look for the factors of 20, after writing them all (including the negative ones of course), you find that +5 and +4 are the only ones that work Or you could use the quadratic formula (better way but it might take a bit without a calculator, and if you do have a calculator you might be able to get an idea of the answers using the table function) There are sooooo many ways I’m just giving you the easiest ones

kailangan mo muna i standard form, kapag sinabing standard form from the highest number of exponent pababa sa constant meaning to say kung ano ang may pinakamataas a exponent sa isang function ayun ang pinaka unang una. ganun din sa degree, degree is the highest number of exponent so kung halimbawa x raised to 4 yan, 4 yung magiging degree mo yung leading coeffiecient kapag naka standard form na, yung pinaka una na term ang leading coeffiecient mo
