Learn how to determine the web server type and version of a website by looking at the response header in Chrome Developer Tools. We will look at websites running Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed as well as other web servers.

@@TonyTeachesTech your good but looking for the topology or diagram of the server I got some tools but someone share the diagram image and it was awesome I know solarwinds have it but that's a paid service
In my case there is no "Server:" in the response header section... Only " X-powered-by:" with the value "PHP/8.1.13". Its a school project and i need to track down what kind of webserver i am using. I imported a docker file and just started building the website. But how do i know what kind of webserver i am using?

What does it mean when the server isn't shown? I've checked several well know websites, including Amazon and Walmart and they don't show their server names.

They are probably purposely hiding it
