During this lecture, I will be discussing how to find striped bass on the open beach. In my opinion, this area is the least productive since you have to bank on them being there. Luckily, if you find these fish in 10 feet or less, chances are you are going to catch them. In my book, the three most crucial factors to take into consideration are wind, tide and structure. Some of what I touch upon is also stressed in Billy the Greek’s seminar as he also goes into depth about bait pattern as well as fishing around the moon. As a whole, the purpose of this discussion is to get a generalized view of how these fish think and feed when necessary.
