It’s tedious, but if you don’t like the physical makeup of a key regen (e.g., a 5’8 Zlatan), reload your save right before the end of the previous season and try again. Player’s name, size, appearance and ratings will change.

The different text based exciting prospect for example, does have a range. Potential to be special is like 88-94+ i think. And showing great potential is like up to 85 potential. In case you didn't know

I’m sure you figured it out, but Ibra 2.0 starts around 80 rated. Verify by checking birthday in edit player.

I haven't tested it out, but I would try searching up some of the easiest to find regens, like Zlatan, Robben, or Ribery.

Workrates are randomly generated. Only nationality, positions and potential are 100% the same.

What happens if your players that’s retiring gets promoted to a higher league? Would the regen go into the league that retiring player was playing in or the next division

Apparently yes. I changed Messi’s position to CAM. When he retired, I found an Argentine who I believe is Messi. Because of the CAM, and has his other positions too e.g. CAM/RW/ST/CF. The only difference is that he is 6”2 lmao

It really depends. Some regens will start at a lower OVR and grow quicker, dynamic potential can also impact how much regens grow depending on match time.

I watched a guy experiment on getting Messi’s and Ronaldo’s regens. Neither retired until they were in their early 40’s, Ronaldo anyways. Messi retired at 39 I believe.

50 seems a bit low for Zlatan but it is possible. If you applied Zlatan's search filters and already checked the Free Agents, than this regen might just be on the lower end as far as Overall goes. They should definitely still show "Great Potential".

You'll need to sign the player to check their birthday. I recommend creating a save before you sign them, just in case.

that's something youre gonna have to look out for manually. Sometimes veteran players retire at any season.You'll also need to know which players are in the age of retirement. But if you're patient enough, there's gonna be KZreadrs who will create videos about players that'll retire in season 1, 2, etc in career mode. I don't know if this guy is one of them (I just stumbled upon his video since I was looking for answers on how to look for regens in fifa 21 since Zlatan's regen didn't appear to me and there's only 1 created player who I'm still evaluating if he's zlatan's regen). You can wait for the youtuber FCG to upload a video like that. He does players expiring in every season, retiring, best youth scout countries, anything helpful for a cm save tbh. edit: a youtuber named goalazio also makes videos about what you want.

@@PyroAceros That might be a bug. If youre gonna play Fifa you gotta accept the fact that any (and I mean ANY) part of the game there'll be a bug. I believe regardless of what his message is to you, if his status says he's retiring at end of season, then there's no working it out. All you can do is train your older players so their retirement is delayed (atleast thats what people say). Tried it out and I had a 35 yr old player retire at 37. not sure if its because of the training
