Except if you're in a big city, all the gyms are insanely competitive while if you're in a less populated area, the competition is probably correlative to the specific population density. You're not really at a disadvantage relative to your locale

Try walking through the downtown area of a medium sized town. Something like a population of 5-10k. I have about 8 pokestops and 2 gyms in my local downtown area. Not much outside of that.

I love that you went to a golf course. I've been following the findings on Silph Road before I started watching your videos. Here in the Hampton Roads area where I've been going to investigate these reported nests and hot spots I feel like there is at least a certain percent chance that a park or golf course will yield a nest. I'd love for more people to go out and test this, report their findings and such. There's a golf course a couple blocks away from me that I've been wanting to figure out how to get on without disrespecting the golfers or the course since I don't play golf, always seems like there are pokemon listed in the sightings that are not on the neighborhood streets that I joke must be on the golf course. I almost wish there was a pokemon go caddy program or some special where I could pay say $5-$10 bucks to have a safety hat and golf cart rental for hunting pokemon on golf courses. I also like that you use the word habitat, that's a concept I haven't heard anyone else use and is probably another grounds of research that would benefit Pokemon Go players.

The Panfilov Park in Kazakhstan has a Water-Type nest (Marill, Wooper, Squirtle,etc....) today it became a Bulbasaur nest! I saw 3 Bulbasaurs and caught 1.

The rustling grass are spawn points. They are points that are more likely to spawn Pokemon. Each tuff of grass isn't guaranteed to spawn Pokemon, but they're more likely. We got this information from data mining.

+Chris Andrews Usually they can be found in the same places, they do occasionally disappear and reappear, not sure if this has to do with the nature of the spawn points or just crappy servers. Again it's just a higher chance of finding a Pokemon, not a guarantee. It used to be very helpful before the trackers went offline(three step issue).

I have a machop nest by the park near my house. I will one day have a one of the most badass Pokémon ever, Machamp!

I just found a pretty contained area with 10 pokestops and 4 gyms and not a single Pokemon!! :-O I even set off incense as I walked around. It was very surprising for seemingly a prime Pokemon area. The gyms were all level 5. Just needed to vent. Thanks for all you are doing!

Same, I guess nobody in my country uses this nest map

I live in the south of England. London is too far and too much money to get to. These sites have no nests anywhere near me, in fact there are only like 3 shown in England, what else can I do? Do they not exist in the UK?

Thanks! I went to one of the nests in LA and found a lot of Squirtles.

No one has submitted a nest in Utah :(

The editing in your videos is great.

I was in st armands circle in Florida for dinner and I noticed all the magnemites and voltorbs and when I checked the maps someone put it on so its pretty accurate and helpful I think
