Great explanations. I suggest clicking on the “earth search” icon. It opens google maps directly, I change to satellite view to help me find my way in/around.

Awesome info! Thanks heaps. That’s just the information I’ve been looking for. I just bought the monster last weekend. I took it to an area that I’ve panned heaps of gold but couldn’t find anything but trash in very ironstone rich ground. so I couldn’t walk 2 steps without getting a target of some sort.

Up in the top bar there is also a tab that gives you GPS Coordinates and you can pin point the exact place you want to go.

Thanks for making the guide KHP! I have a question... The earthresources.vic.gov.au states that you can "Prospect without consent" in "Crown land other than prohibited Crown land" Does the "prohibited Crown land" show up on the Geovic map, or is there an extra Layer for that?
