In case you don't find a fortune enchantment book before you find silk touch, you can use a pickaxe with silk touch to bring all those diamond blocks to the base and store them as mineable blocks for when you have fortune enchantment on another pickaxe

(Bedrock only) another way is digging up a tuff patch and the surroundings. It takes a long time, but it’s a high Chance you’ll get them. If you get an ‘unlucky’ seed as I like to call em it doesn’t work. It works because diamonds can’t generate in tuff patches in bedrock edition so they generate around it instead.

I stopped digging on -59 and went to -53 and first tunnel I got a 13 diamond vein😅

You can also get fortune 3 from villagers, get the emeralds and book, put on anvil and good to go!

I literally just digged down to -53 digged one block to the left and they was diamonds awesome 😂👍

Also mine on chunk borders, seeing 2 chunks at once will obviously increase chances, since diamonds are able to spawn only x-times per each chunk.

Wouldnt they be more likely to spawn in the middle of a chunk border rather than on it though? Not sure just asking, im on Xbox so I'm not paying attention to my chunk most of the time

​@@SubwayBrat I'm not sure for bedrock, but there are methods to find chunk borders on bedrock. Purely basing it off statistics, since diamonds spawn a certain number of times in each chunk. If you consider the chances of getting a heads in a coin flip, having two coins flipped at once, you're far more likely to get one heads than with just one coin, yet you still could get two tails 3 times in a row, that's just luck.

@@SubwayBrat I'd imagine there may be some code that makes chunk border spawns less likely, but i think rolling the chances twice every time you mine makes up for the difference and increases chances overall.

Tip: add sound caption and always look at it if it says lava pops than be alerted

If you updated your world to the newer version, yes. But it's not gonna affect the places you've already been in because they were loaded before already. So yeah the chunks that will load for the FIRST time WILL load affected by the update. Just make sure to go far to new places

It does give you more diamonds. The deeper you go, the more diamonds you find as long as you don’t mind at y -59

I literally mined for 2 hour straight at y 11 💀
