Jason, these are exquisite garnet necklaces, made to be worn and seen. The quality of cut, colour , and graded perfectly,designed to make a statement once set in such elegant pieces large top faceted perfectly set by the artist. The coulour has been designed and coloured to elevate the tone of the pieces to show them to perfection. I have some flat back garnets in pigeon’s blood, with top facets ( acquired from a jeweller’s long forgotten gems in an estate sale). I also have a shield cut Sangre de Toro garnet from the same collection. A nice collection of grossular rounds, faceted…demantoid, that are the true colour of new grass, with amazing fire. Some almandine garnets, and dravite garnets as old, that colour change between brown and yellow green. One day I will design and set them. Thank you for sharing these with us, they are magnificent. My birthstone is Ruby or sardonyx, but I always envied the rich deep garnets, which was my Sister’s birthstone, and she hated them. The garnets suit you dear man. I love antique cuts a lot, and have a pretty nice assortment of various gems, including Art Deco. I love you showing your loved pieces. It starts my creative juices flowing again. My great aunt found a garnet necklace in the floorboards of a house she moved into in the 1920s (in Toledo Ohio!) left it to my mother who left it to me. It’s beautiful late Victorian like these but a simpler design. I was thrilled to see this video and learn more about my necklace. Thank you Jason!

I found a beautiful garnet brooch at a thrift store recently. They had it labeled as carnelian.

I have always loved garnets, and all of heirloom different colors. Your collection is very beautiful, I can’t even pick a favorite. Garnets are my birthstone also. Have a great rest of your day.

I’ve got to be honest, here, Jason, because garnets are my birth stone and I was always disappointed that it was my birth stone. You have changed my mind because with these beauties, I now can see their value as a gemstone! Wow, those are really gorgeous! Plus, those green garnet pieces are STUNNING! I had no idea that garnet came in many shades of green. I’m a redhead with green eyes, so green is my favorite color to wear. Now green garnets are something I can really get behind!

I’ve always loved garnets, to me they are gothic and romantic so mysterious. I love the way the flatter most everybody and come in so many styles from simple to ornate. And Jason the demantoid pieces are just to die for, lush and so rarely seen. I loved this video, as always the biggest treasure is the host himself thank you.

What exquisite garnets! I have always loved garnets and they were also my late husband’s gemstone. I have a large garnet that was his and I want to make it into a ring that I can wear for remembrance piece for him. Each and every piece you showed were so very elegant. Omg Jason😱 (and Hello🤗) I just woke up and your video was first in my feed. Thank God I watched it because I think you may have helped me with a piece I have been scratching my head on for months!! I aquifer a piece which looks Edwardian (imo, but made in the last decade I believe)and uses both 14k & .925 (so far). There are other markings with letters and numbers and I couldn’t figure it out. Maybe it’s from overseas? It has gorgeous moving parts and the stones are moonstone. I absolutely LOVE IT but it’s driving me crazy lol.🤣 Once again, Thank you for sharing your AMAZING jewelry with all of us and have a GREAT day🤗

Russian brooch/ pendant is exceptional, who is the maker? Love the videos and your genuine enthusiasm, and you are not boasting, it is interesting to know current values. Like all collectors we never sell the pieces we love, but enjoy that on paper profit, so often gained because we followed our own instinct or taste against the trend, and we’re proved correct

Omg Jason those green garnets really do look like emeralds😮! Now you’ve done it, I *need*😂; my fave colour! Your collection keeps astounding, I’ve learned so much; TSMFS all your knowledge w/ us!!! Question: would you be able to do a video on finding legit jewellery appraisers? If I lived near I’d try to hire you for sure😃! Perhaps combine it w/ finding repair for old pieces? I have so many family pieces I know little about except who they belonged to (some from Italy) & want to learn more possibly fix or reset, some looks like junk but I know the stones aren’t. Then I can keep notes for posterity so once I’m gone they won’t be discarded as they’re part of my family’s ancestry & I’d like them kept in our family. If that makes sense? TSMFS again, with 😘💚! WOW. Garnets are so pretty and special. Like your presentation. I think I have a garnet bracelet!. All these paintings I have I know something has got to be worth something!!!.
