Just a quick correction... I forgot to show in the video that once you switch to 8K, 24fps you also need to change shutter speed to 1/50th... keep that in mind... :)

Hmm.. It is clear that the author's task is to show what the stock camera can do. That's why strobing and fps drops in this video are not Zdenka's problem at all, but a flaw of software developers. The good news it can be fixed by using third-party camera. Well done Zdenka!

​@@MobyFilmmakerI actually found the strobing, constantly changing colours and exposure swinging to be a constant distraction and would be annoying to watch during a full movie. This is where a phone 🤳 just doesn't make the grade, even when trying to manually lock the exposure. Ok for amateurs doing a quick selfie or video clip but I'm still not convinced in using phones for serious video.

I have been watxing your videos and I would say it is the best for people who are new in mobile photography with no background in photography at all... I m now pleased to see that you are making content with s24 ultra which is the phone I m using as well .... This video was just what I wanted! I had already purchased the Freewell 1.33 cinemorphic lenses in both blue and gold flares, the ND filters that fit over those lenses, and the regular ND filters you used in this video; what I DON'T have yet is the Freewell CASE, lol. (It's been on backorder, which has been torture; I have all these lenses and filters but no way to attach them to my S24 Ultra! 🫤) The case should arrive by this Friday, and then I can play with all my new toys, lol. Anyway, you shot some beautiful footage and edited it together into a fantastic sequence. Thank you for both the lesson and the creative inspiration! EDIT TO ADD: The telephoto lens footage was great! Yet an other lense I will have to purchase when it becomes available, lol.

I just got the S24 and so far I'm loving it. I have the Smooth 5, but I think I might go back to my original Crane gimbal due to some funky issues I've noticed with it. Have you looked at Neewer and their cage for the S24? Lock on 67mm threads and or optional macro lenses. Very cool stuff! I think the mount will allow to have a camera mount as well which will allow me to use the Crane. Great information on the video. Inspires me to go shoot more!

Thanks to you Zedenka for providing always authentic and original content. You are really putting lot of effort in creating these videos. One question always popping in mind is that creating anything from imagination which one is greater and of higher value, A movie or episode which is virtual or an infrastructure such as bridge, Highrise multistorey building, tunnels, roads etc. which is physical. @@FrancisSyCoCo I think I bought it either at Freewell or Amazon. I also bought a Smallrig universal cage with 2 Bluetooth handles. It's quite heavy, more like my DSLR, so I think it will work for stabilization. I find the gimbal does lend well to to shoot and run

Nice video as always. As samsung longterm user I should advice you to always use polar filters with Samsung. I'm not sure if it is a software or the way they arrange their sensor, but the jittery and sometimes wobbling image sometimes happens because Samsung fails to properly deal with reflections (specially reflections arround 45º common in highier latitudes), and the polar filter corrects that (obs: as far I know it happens in all generations from S7, they get better in hidding it, but it still there).

I have been filming in New Zealand and Sydney for the last few weeks with the S23 ultra using Hohem gimbal, both Freewell anamorphic lense and mcpro 24 camera app. Gettting great shots. Dealing with the extra weight and balk of the lens on the gimbal along with switching lens as you rush to catch a street car, train or ferry with thousand of people around you is cumberson. Other than the lens flares, which in most shots are not present, what are your thoughts on anamorphic lens vs 9:21 ratio. A great video for you to make would be on how to travel light and travel fast when you partners wants to see the sights and has limited patience to wait while you deal with your equipment. Today is our last full day, will try 9:21 ratio and let you know how it compares.

Hi Zdenka thanks for the video. I've ordered an S24 Ultra it will be here in a few days and I'll also be using it with my Hohem M6 as an upgrade to my S21 Plus so it's great to see this combination in use. What's with all the white stuff on the ground? It's mid 20s Centigrade here (77F) and we haven't seen a single drop of rain so far this year, which is unusual as February is usually our wettest month of the year with 41mm (1.6 inch). Snow looks nice but way too cold for my linking😋

Video looks really nice. I also have the S24 Ultra, pretty satisfied with it's videos, but not the photos, although just received an update, so will be curious, if it will fix it a bit or not. Although, I may just kind of spiled with my D850 picture quality :D Planning to get the Freewell magnetic filters for sure, just the case still not available here in Hungary.

Great review, congratulations. Is this gimbal capable of shooting Samsung s24 ultra 4k 60fps video in its own app? You know most gimbal's apps do not support 4k 60fps video features on Android phones.

I enjoyed the video very much but I just have a question you used a 24 frames timeline and some of it was shot at 60 frames so when you put it on the 24th timeline do they automatically slow down on their own or do you have to change some settings?

No, you have to slow it down 40% yourself

But why are no one asking why you can't use the contrast, saturation etc. in Pro video mode in 4k ?? "Pro shooters" would like to turn down the saturation a bit and have a flatter contrast for better post production, but I guess no Pro shoots over 1080 ? It can't be a processor thing, I don't believe it! I've had all the S Ultras, and every year I'm looking forward to this being fixed, but no :(

You should've changed the shutter speed to 1/50 when you changed it to 8K 24fps

Thank you so much for pointing it out. I missed this one as it is hard to do so many things at once. Explain to the camera what I’m doing while I’m filming…. I have painted the correction in the comment at the top and I also added iit in the PDF file.

I used the same setting but it didn't work my screen didn't go white

@@ZdenkaDarulaNo Worries it happens. Hey question for you I picked up the Feitutech Scorp Mini 2 under your recommendation and it is pretty good. I purchased it for 2 reasons 1. Don't have to use there app if you don't want to and 2. so I can use it with my DSLR and Phone so I don't need to purchase 2 gimbals so good choice. The one problem I'm having is I have a Samsung s24 ultra 1tb and when it comes to balancing, the bottom and middle arm no problem, but the pivot where the phone is attached it seems like there is no adjustments other than sliding the phone out more or the clamp. Seeing that the S24 is quite a heavy phone, it still works but it is worry some I can level that one joint. Any suggestions. Chris From snowy Alberta lol
