Thanks for the information. It was very informative. I have a question which I didn’t hear an answer here or read at welcome corps website. What happens to the collected fund to sponsor a specific family if the family’s application is denied and the family does not immigrant to US? If the funds are raised from other family members and close friends, the expectation is that the money must be returned to the contributors since the raised funds could be significant when sponsoring a large family.

Thank you for well articulated demo. The five check boxes listed under Sponsor Commitment Forms Upload, one of them is asking to make a check mark if all sponsors background check has been or completed. I wonder if it’s required before completing the form, where and how do we do that?

Yes, it is required before the application is filed. Where? At the nearest USCIS immigration background check center. Please double check with someone who has done background check before.

Hello, Doctor they asking for a (USRAP)case number. That starts with two letters and six numbers but I don’t have it. What can I do with this question? Please reply to my question and thank you!

It will be more helpful to join the team. It appears that they are short in personal. I submitted the application since January. I then sent to the team an email for correction. Up to date, my issue remains unresolved. No direct phone nb to call.

Whats the process for uploading the Commitment Form? When uploading it can the group leader get handwritten signature from all the members to put on the paper form and then scan it and upload it online? In other words, if my family apply for my brother, does he need to be registered as a refugee somewhere or can we apply for him as a private sponsorship and not a refugee ?? @@akukulufamily5813 thank you for getting back to me, is this information available on welcome corps website, when I talked to one of non profit org that works on refugees issues, they told me its not a must to have all five members to live in same community because, members who live faraway can come and stay in a hotel for three months when refugees arrive in USA, so there is a way to help even members residing in a different state. If welcome Corp web says its mandatory please send me a link thank you and God bless you

Whats so ever , make sure the account has your sponsor group name as account / nick name or all five members of the group listed on it.

I recommend that one member open a savings account in their personal bank and make sure to nickname it using the group name.

My bank cannot put the name of the sponsor group in a bank account. Can you mention any bank that does this?

yes he can but if he is a coordinator he cant be a coordinator in another group but he can be a sponsor
