Thanks for this - I was just at a gas station today in Europe and could not figure it out. Now I know!

This video just saved our bacon as we pulled up clueless at a pump, collapsed in sleep-deprived laughter trying to figure out what "AdBlue" was, and couldn't work out why the pumps wouldn't exude any delicious fuel. Nice one mate, cheers!

In the US, the payment is with the pump itself, so it's good to know it's a separate stall. Thanks

These machines always fill your car up with 80euros but what if my car is full with 40euros how can I get that money back?

I put my credit card in the payment machine and it started processing. Then nothing happened. When to the next station, same thing, a third station, different card same results. I had used the card before at a full service and with an Italian assisting me. I am clueless to the issue?

why did you have to enter the odometer reading? Doesn't it refer to the distance you've driven?

Is there an option for post payment, say if you want to fill up full tank?

Payment is always post. You provide your card first, it will get charged only once you're done refueling.

Once you insert your card and the transaction is validated, you can check from the screen itself regarding the amount of gas you can fill in

Is there an option to pay by cash?

Unfortunately there is no option for cash in most gas station. There might be exceptions but have not seen any till date

98 octane and 95 octane, not percent
