I bought a Toyota from a California dealer and they told me that they are going to mail me the title in a week or two, is 3months and I didn't receive the title. I got help from Cyber Credible and they help me fill the title form for my car tbh It was helpful

@@trentcalson105 I bought a RV from a private seller in Maryland. He signed in the wrong spot on the title. My DMV in NJ will not let me title in my name and Maryland DMV will not let me get a duplicate title but I had to seek help from Cyber Credible. They're helping people a lot

THANKS for a very clear video! Currently with DMV on pandemic mode, you can do more things online. If your case is complicated, you can still call the DMV.

Thanks for your in-depth instruction. I've done this a number of times but when gifting a car to my son last year, we didn't put "GIFT" in the purchase price on the back and it held up the transfer. We wouldn't have known until I decided to follow up when my son did not receive the new title. There are so many rules to follow. Thanks again.

One important note regarding smogging a transfer vehicle. There are some exceptions for smogging: (See California DMV Form 256). For example, I don't believe a smog test is needed if the vehicle is being gifted to a relative.

Man your a legend, I was so confused on the 1b signature cause my title shows the owner as "me or another person". I thought I would have to get two signatures but thankfully not cause that person lives far from me.

The new owner does not sign on the front side on top portion which remains with the previous owner. Besides that overall you did very good job explaining the whole process.

I just moved from WA to CA and just bought a car from my co-worker, here is my question: Since I’m still using my Washington State driver’s license and my DL number has more than 8 digits, so when I tried to fill out the back of the title where ask for new owner’s DL number there is not enough place to write my full DL number, what should I do for that situation?
