What if you trademark is dead and you want to make it live again?

Just for anyone's reference, just know that the government filling fee is 350 plus the 49 or whatever charge the company your using charges!

Its the "sales pitch" just around the bend that gets me.

what a nice switcharoo! from the USPTO site that's a mess, but costs less, to the 3rd party seller that's not really nescesary, but definitely saves you a headache from the HORRIBLE USPTO site.

This was really helpful but Trademark Engine, LLC in Houston TX has an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. Are there any other companies you'd add as reasonable, safe competitors?

It takes so long, and u still have to pay the 350 filling fee. For 49 dollars more it's worth letting someone experience do it

can you also register it outside of the US? Let's say for example if you are in France?

why would you promote such a terrible service? trademark engine has terrible customer service and can be pretty much summed up as a scam. they charge you ridiculous fees that you didnt even opt in for

Exactly! I believe they stole my business name! The process didn't go through and 3 days later my business name was taken! I've had that name for 15 years in my head and never told anyone. It came up with zero results in Google and zero result on the Government's website so I know it was only mine until I tried this. Do not ever use any of these websites!

​@@timmytee734I'm not a lawyer or anything, so don't take this as gospel, but it would depend on which country you filed it for, to say whether they get to steal your business name or not. Because some countries, have first to file, which if successful, guarantees that brand the trademark vs some countries, eg USA, the first to use. If it's the US, you may still be in with a chance to still trademark that name.

Yeah the up selling is ridiculous, I had to go through 10 upsale pages before I was finally able to checkout
