Today's video was sponsored in memory of Chana Pesha bat Ha'Rebbe Shlit"a.
So this inspiring and motivational class is going to help you feel better. This lecture gives advice and tips for how people struggling with anxiety and dealing with depression can heal themselves and lead happier, more successful lives. The first step for spiritual therapy is hitbodedut - jewish meditation, where you have a private conversation with yourself and God, the Creator. If you are depressed, and want to cope with it, the best way is to talk it out with God, the one person who ca actually help you overcome it. The same for struggling with anxiety and feeling anxious, meditate, pray, and talk about it with God. There are reasons in your childhood, problems that actually damaged your soul. So you need to spend time every day, talking to the greatest therapist in the world, God. Hashem (God) knows what you’re going through, and he can help you find the root of your feelings and your emotions. He knows why you feel what you are feeling. So he can help you get to the root of the emotional pattern and help you deal with it in a healthy way. You don’t need to be living with anxiety, and you don’t to be living with depression. You don’t need tone feeling lonely or feeling sad. Yes your feeling are legitimate, and nobody should tell you that what you are feeling is just a mindset that you need to change - but you can be healed. You can be happy.

sometimes Elohim wants us to feed the agony, because there comes a point where He sets us free. He also wants us to see we do not need to be overwhelmed by our emotions and feelings, He lifts us above them if we trust, if we accept, He achieves His will in us, when we give into our weaknesses ,yes we see our poverty and need, and He helps us see so He can heal us. i really love your teaching. thank you

I appreciate all of his lessons so much. But I have a question about the part about prayers needing to be specific. I'm obsessive-compulsive, and when I pray I go through a great deal of agony for a lot of reasons. One of those reasons is that I always worry tremendously that I'm not phrasing my prayers properly, and so what if for this reason the thing that I so desperately wish for will not happen, and instead, G-d forbid, something terrible will happen that I definitely would not want. Because I'm obsessive-compulsive this gets to a point where it completely takes over me, and I end up repeating the same prayer countless times while trying to phrase it in the most specific and accurate way. I read somewhere that if G-d knows what is in your heart when you're praying then it is enough, even if you didn't phrase your prayer in the most accurate way - and this has helped me relax a little. I hope that for someone like me it's okay if the prayer isn't extremely specific, because G-d would know what it is that I mean? Also, in regard to the part about how it is okay to still practice some transgressions in moderation, as you are in the process of improving yourself and have the goal of eventually ceasing them completely (ex, the example with the guy eating the pitas): but what if someone's transgressions are really unforgivable, like if they're something truly heinous? Where does one draw the line of when it stops being okay?

I think you're very right about what you said that god knows what's in your heart and he knows what you really need and he will help you even if your prayer is not specific. I feel sure that that's true.

27:00 I only want to sleep until 12 because He doesn't give me enough energy to get up and get out and do something, or enough hope or something. It's not my fault. I rather to get up before the sun and watch it rise over the palm trees with you, maybe in Eilat near a reef. 🌊🐠🌴🌴

Hi Rav, I am listening to the shiur, maybe I will go back to Israel to learn something, Big deal my son took these steps, he always excelled but nothing ever stuck, Hashem seems to be authentically part of his life, I would like to be a part too, you have to see , the orthodox girls he likes, all want big earners, I am not judging them, at all, but an issue for David, he is over 30 he wants to be married to observant woman, but he has his list to...

Oy, this donkey story is breaking me every time. How precise do you have to be, when G-d already knows? Did he need to pray for donkey that can take him certain number miles in certain amount of time and this and that and another thing? He should have asked for a flying carpet. 😉🌴🌴🔥
