Dear Vandy, you are a WONDERFUL teacher. You speak clearly, you give hand cues, you show multiple examples, you film close up, you work slowly, you repeat key points, and you are endlessly patient. I appreciate you sharing your skills with us. I appreciate how much time you give us from your life. Because of you, my daughters all look polished. And I’m now one step closer to my goal of being World’s Best Dad.

Wow. I’m sooooo happy your vids came up in my feed!!! I am almost 50 years old and still learning. I have two girls and one of them won’t let anyone else braid her hair but her mommy. Love my Mia. No matter if it takes three days, she still wants only me to braid her hair. I’m not the best but have been researching forever to find someone that can teach these techniques precise and concise. Thank you for your willingness to share your expertise! Kudos!

I learned how to cornrow from KZread back in 2010 for my daughter… I feel more comfortable with me doing her hair than anyone else so why not learn❤️🥰 me and her are natural so it take a lot of patient when doing both our hair. It’s well worth it.

I have watched so many of these braiding videos but I just couldn't SEE what they were doing so it didn't make sense to me! I heard it described so many ways and seeing it is the only way I finally understood, thank you so much for this!!! I love the techniques you shared and in the first bit already you helped me because I figured out the "borrowing" from other sections to even things out but I wasn't sure why sometimes it looked like a seamless transition and other times it was obvious! You showed me it's cause I was feeding from the top and pulling it OVER top, now I know to go under and take from the bottom of the section. Thank you so so so much!!! This is where it's at for us visual learners.

Thank you so much for this! I am used to doing the box braids but definitely not feed ins. I’m going to try this for my daughter with a rainbow ombré for back to school. I also love your little videos. They were funny! Definitely just subscribed.

This may sound silly because you braid all the time. I followed the video about how to do the feed in braids. I had tried to do that before, and I couldn't get it. Anyway, a couple of hours ago I tried it, and I was able to get it the first time. I actually teared up. Thank you so much. Don't ever let anyone tell you that what you do is not important.
