I have the same one but mine is blue and I'm wondering since yours is older now, does he come to you when you call him ? Mine doesn't respond when I call him espically when I try to feed him, he just wanders around.

It took few days for mine to come when calling after bonding with him. I guess the key is spending time with your parrot. Now, my quaker is responding to his name even when free flying.

Very cool. I had a baby crow once and I know that can be very very messy.

I wish I had one man those things are so cute but I think my cat might get it haha

i'm thinking of buying a baby (1 month old) Quaker in few days any recommendation on how many ML of baby food to give it?

Omg please! Not only are you taking a chance burning his crop, but there is no reason that food has to go all over that baby. Buy a thermometer and do it right! This is not the way to feed a baby bird!

Normally I would say you're correct but the water heater is set to 115 degrees so by the time I mix in his food and fill the syringe it's about 108 degrees. I used to check it all the time when I first started feeding him but it was always about that. So I ended up removing that step because it was very consistent

Hello! I just got my Quaker today, he’s about 2 months old. I tried feeding him but he won’t eat or make any signs that he’s hungry. He also has been quiet the the whole day. Could this be due to him being nervous to his new surroundings?

I got him during late afternoon so they fed him in the morning and at noon.
