If they’re migraines there are treatments for that. Or if they’re caused by muscle spasms. I had to get a form of Botox in my neck and back of my head, about 30 injections, every four months. But. I’d been having such bad migraines (which started as tension headaches) that I was in the dark and quiet almost half the days of the month. I had to eat in the dark and wake up and go to bed in the dark, shower in the dark, etc. I had about five minutes to talk with my Mom at the base of the stairs after the sun went down (huge windows in my parents’ house) to get dinner and an update on how everyone was. I’d listen to audiobooks on the lowest level, for hours, so sensitized. If the headaches are persistent, please see a doctor about it. In some people, it’s a symptom of dangerous medical conditions and it’s better to get treatment. For a very small percent of the population, headaches can be a symptom of a tumor creating pressure in your skull. A sudden horrible one can be a symptom of a brain bleed. So while it’s not likely to be something like that, it’s good to know. Plus, if it’s something that has a treatment, there’s no reason to be in unnecessary pain. I really hope your headaches get better.
