How to Fake a Blues Guitar Solo
Музыка
Join Sean Daniel and Ian Stich as you learn how to fake blues guitar. Sometimes you just gotta fake it til you make it and we're going to teach you how you can swap between 4 identical chord voicings over a standard 12 bar blues shuffle to make it seem like you're actually creating your own melodic solo.
Just cycling through a few dominant 7 voiced chords over a blues in E background rhythm.
Be sure to check out Ian's channel for more lessons! goo.gl/kySv0X

IMHO.... It seems alot of people like to pick apart people like you that are nice enough to make vid's like this to help people with a simple concept. I don't care if it wasn't perfectly in tune or if the guy on the taylor wasn't doing extravagant solo's. I got the idea.....think that was the entire point. Thanks

Windsurfrjeff - Those "people" are called TROLLS and more specifically KZread Trolls who have nothing better to do than sit and kvetch about what someone else posts regardless of how helpful that post is to others. It's a sad testament to their sad life. I for one am thankful Mr. Stitch and Mr. Daniel took the time to make this video.
For all those crappy critics: why don't you do something better and share it with us? Thanks a lot guys; I've learnt a lot and had great fun both watching you play and trying it myself.

You could call it faking that you actually understand how to use a blues scale in different positions up and down the neck. But I'd still consider it legit (if very basic) blues playing.

A million guitar players and teachers over countless years on KZread and YOU, Sean, HAVE my attention. Your approach has advanced my 40 years of playing guitar, bass and actually my keyboard playing from intermediate level to advanced! Being the music director and lead guitar player in a classic style cover band has brought a new level of excitement and ambition in the songs we not only play but the ones we choose in adding to our repertoire. Your theory approach has opened my guitar AND my playing hand to a whole new level. Thank You.
