lol no need to squeeze it :) simply leave it for a good 10 seconds after powering on and then finger in the middle for another 10 secs will trigger the reset

@jerad My HomePod's have a static pop as they play music. Is this a common issue? It starts out playing great then they start to distort and crackle and pop... Any Advise?

I only have to put on finger on it 5 seconds after plugging it in. Hold my finger on it until the red spinner, the prompt and three beeps. No force at all.

I have six HomePods. I am resetting all of them because there was a problem. I’m keeping the HomePods and buying two more fairly soon.

I bought one from eBay I hope this will work as it's not powering on he says it was working and the next morning it will. not come on £35 with delivery if not it be a dead chip that needs replacing or a Power supply problem, I just home all it needs is this easy reset.

It’s weird that I tried to reset the HomePod by putting finger on the top but kept failing, however, when I pressed hard with palm, it worked…..it sounds stupid, but it’s true

That is ridiculous I reset it with one pinky finger and I could see the lights behind it ridiculous!!!!
