I have just completed the updated version of this tutorial showing you how to extract audio from video files using iOS 16. Hi I do see a folder that it’s downloaded to. No idea where the file goes.. it doesn’t ask me even though I selected that it should. Any advice please? Thank you

Appears every one is having the same issue of not being able to find files on Apple, Plus this method is outdated, and the new method doesn’t work. For the price of an iPhone it sure is not user friendly and very very cumbersome, and every update changes everything you already understood 😮

OMG, Thank you so much! I do a lot of video editing on my iPhone and I have watched a bunch of videos, no one has explained it like you! I can finally pull just the audio from videos if needed without recording it on another device.

It says it's only a suggested action...... Just pull up the search bar and exit the media section and search for Save file instead.

Wow!!! This is just awesome. I had never paid any attention to iOS feature Shortcut… in fact had thought of something similar to desktop shortcut in windows. But OMG! This is automation of existing apps using the APIs of those apps and passing input parameters and then using the output parameters to the next app in the workflow!!! And all these w/o writing a single line of code… just drag and drop… I really had no idea and never thought that Shortcut is capable of so much. Not only did you solve my problem but also introduced me to a whole new area…. Thanks a ton 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Just search for them, same place you went to find “media” you don’t need the suggestions

Just a heads up, you HAVE to restart your phone in order for this to show up. But it definitely works. I’m ios 15.6
