@billyhiggins1908 Tap on mixer settings icon (bottom left of screen), Tap on 3 dots to right of midi track name, Tap on Export as midi. When the popup share window appears, Tap on the screen above the popup share window to close the share window. The midi file will now be in your phones download folder

NiCoveredTV The projects used to be saved to your phone but now they are saved to the BandLab cloud server only. If some projects are missing from your library, check the deleted projects folder. If they are not in your library or the deleted projects folder, try opening the files app, tap on internal storage, then the Android folder, then the Data folder, then the com.bandlab.bandlab folder. Tap on the various folders to see if there are any MID or M4A files. There won't be any recoverable projects but you might find the midi or audio tracks that you can import into a new project. Otherwise, you may need to contact bandlab to see if there is any way to recover the projects from their cloud servers.

Question...I have projects that's stuck on sync process...any ideas why..I updated the app and my android phone...help out you can..thanks

dray one Hi, when you add a project or a track in bandlab, BandLab saves the project or track to the bandlab cloud server. The sync problems happen when the cloud server has connection problems and can't download a track or tracks of a project. These are usually audio tracks and occur most often on the web version of bandlab. Updating or re installing the app won't usually make a difference. If you have an earlier version of the song (project) saved, try opening that (always save your projects regularly). I have found creating a new 10 second test project, saving the project, exiting bandlab, then re opening this test project, appears to break some sync loop issues with the bandlab server for some reason (stuck cache maybe?).

Talkinhiphop Hi, you can export the audio tracks and the midi tracks from BandLab Assistant (Google Chrome for PC version of Bandlab) but you can't export the whole project (session) itself. You can open your Bandlab projects that you create on your phone or tablet on the PC version without the need to export the project (they both share the same bandlab cloud server space where your projects are stored).

Memories You can convert the m4a file to wav with an app like the one I used in this video... kzread.info/dash/bejne/pWWeu8mvYNKTc9o.html Or you can download it from the online version of BandLab like I did in this video... kzread.info/dash/bejne/hnx3zNmKad22pqQ.html But you can't download it as a wav from the mobile version of BandLab.

BlancosFamilyFarm You can export the entire song by tapping on the 3 dots to the left of the project name, on the project page of the BandLab startup screen (tap on the icon at the bottom right of the home page) and tapping on download. The song however will be downloaded as an m4a file, which is a compressed audio format (much like mp3) and not the same quality as a wav file.

BlancosFamilyFarm BandLab mobile (phone app) only exports to m4a but when exporting as a wav from the browser version (computer app) of BandLab you would normally select 44.1 khz at 16 bit as the wav format for commercial sites (standard CD format).

At the bottom of the screen, on the record tab in Motiv, you can set format to WAV and quality to 16bit 44.1khz If you do this before you convert your song to WAV, it will be converted to a 16bit 44.1khz WAV file

Nitin Ojha S (solo) will mute the sound of all tracks that are not solo'd. Also note... if you press on S and M on the same track, you will mute that track (as well as mute all tracks that are not solo'd). All muted tracks will be greyed out.

Sangeet Ke Deewane Syncing is usually caused when bandlab is copying your audio tracks in your song to the BandLab cloud server. Once the audio tracks have been uploaded the syncing problem should go away. You just need to wait. I recommend saving your song every time you record (or import) an audio track or make any changes to an audio track.

It says error 404! Any solution?

Nasir Tamzid Official Error 404 means Internet connection not found, in this case it usually means the BandLab cloud server was unavailable or the BandLab cloud server has not finished preparing your song for download. Give it a few minutes and try again.

@sarahjames2177 Hi, you can load Mp4 to KZread (this is the normal upload file type for KZread) but do you mean your song downloaded as M4a? When you Tap on download in BandLab, you can Tap on audio, to save your song as M4a or Tap on video, to save your song as Mp4. Although you might want to open your project in the bandlab video editor and record some video to go with your song before uploading it to KZread.

@jeriahshield2955 Hi, your song will download as a m4a audio file but if you have an android phone you may not be able to play m4a audio files (m4a is an Apple audio file). The easiest way to play it on an android phone is to change the file extension m4a to mp4 (so mySong.m4a changes to mySong.mp4). Or use a audio converter app to convert it to mp3 (or wav). Personally, I either use the Motiv Audio app on my phone or export my song as a wav audio file from the online browser (pc) version of BandLab. If you song won't download, the bandlab cloud servers might just be having a bad day, so try again after a few hours. As long as your project saved successfully, you should be able to download your song but long songs or songs with lots of tracks and fx can take a long time to download.

Oster JP You can save an instruments track as midi file by tapping on the mixer settings icon (bottom right of the screen), tapping on the 3 dots on the instrument track header and tapping on Export as Midi on the popup menu. But you can't save an audio track as a midi file.

Pro Saint Hi, if you are using your phone or tablet's mic (or a headset mic), the phone or tablet's volume button controls the volume of your mic as well as the speaker volume, so try increasing the phone or tablet's volume level. If the gain is still a bit low you can add gain in the fx (video coming soon) or add a compressor and increase the level in the compressor as I have done in this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/eH2W2dWBZbvPhKw.html

it's really depends on how many recordings you do and also your wifi. sum records automatically download to your phone in clips, but if you have many records it'll take longer. if you have fast wifi then it'll automatically save after done recording. so (fast Internet= automatic save) (slow Internet= no download and will take longer to "process")

Otherwise, you probably have a corrupted track in your project (usually an audio track), try muting different tracks each time you try to download to see which track has the problem

Cedric Antonino This video uses 3 apps... Bandlab and Gmail, which are available on the app store and Files, which is either already on iphone or available on the app store . The Files app has a blue icon. I will be posting a new video this week (Wednesday) with an easier way to export to Android and iPhone.

Proppa Music Sneaky tip for you.... Add the fx to your track, then use my export track method to export the track kzread.info/dash/bejne/nZOss49ppNDKf8Y.html When you import the audio file back into you song/project the fx will already be on the track so you wont need to add any fx to it, so no slow down.

E Dub BandLab are in the process of making songs available for download, although it currently looks like you will have to buy the songs in the format of an download album.

Also, make sure Gmail has permission to access your device's storage (settings >> apps >> permissions). Gmail cannot save the attachment if it does not have permission.

Joyee's Melody Hi, unable to sync means the BandLab cloud server was unable to upload your track to the cloud server. Bandlab works in a weird way that when you download a track, it has to be uploaded to the BandLab cloud server before it can be downloaded back to your phone (even though the track is already on your phone). BandLab seem to be having connection issues lately, check your Internet connection is okay then try downloading your track again. Also, its a good idea to save your project a couple of minutes before your want to download a track. This should make sure the BandLab cloud server is already in sync with your project before you download.

Miñoza, Precious Angel Hi, check out my download error video... kzread.info/dash/bejne/dmGew6NwdrG_crw.html Also, make sure gmail has permission to access your storage and you are opening the draft email properly (you can't download the attachment from the preview window). Sometimes I have to tap on the attachment twice before it will download or need to close gmail and re open gmail before I can download the attachment, so that's worth a try. If you still can't download the attachment, the track you are trying to export might be corrupted on the BandLab cloud server. Try adding a new track and copy the track recording to the new track, don't add any fx, save your project, then try exporting the new track instead.

Ok this is Good really good however if this is the only way to get the files that belong to you out of BANDLAB I going to try others software for recording I can't believe that they made this software like that is so stupid they have to provide storage space for everyone that makes a recording not just that what is the reason for? To me I don't care how good this or any other software is if you can storage your own files on you own phone I don't see the point you can do shit it Whit if you want to use it on a Private projects how you going to do it like

Suman kumar Kewat Hi, BandLab have chosen the m4a format for the mobile app, I can only guess that it is because they store your songs on their cloud servers and m4a files are a lot smaller than wav files to store and transfer across the Internet (and use less bandwidth). You can download your songs as wav from the browser pc version of BandLab but these may just be m4a files converted to wav format rather than actual high quality wav files. 🤔

SATYA Hi, there are a few things that might stop it working, Internet issues (check the connection), gmail doesn't have permission to access your device's storage (check permissions in your device's settings), your audio file has not completed being processed by BandLab (wait a minute and try again), you forgot to open the draft email (the draft email has to be opened to download the attachment, it wont work from the emails summary window).

@j5s9c Sadly, you can only download as an mp3 from the pc browser version of BandLab.

Bandlab should really get their crap together. Why don't they just let people export directly???
