“Go into the void with all sorts of weird things under there” proceeds to glitch under the map with literally nothing under there.

This game is so well made, I love having to glitch through the earth and swim all the way to area zero to do a Charcadet Mass Outbreak I can’t reach because all of them are spawning inside the mountain. And then when half way to Area zero I have to send out my Ghouldengo inch by inch to make sure there’s collision.

omg it’s literally been a YEAR and I just had this exact problem, what the hell gamefreak

They seem to use single side materials (that is why you can see through them) .. But they use double side collisions, which they should change top improve performance as physical collision should work only with objects which you "see".

I did it by accident but I clipped in a wall inside a cave on the sea while battling a wild sableye during my play trough… I was able to explore all the region except for Area Zero (maybe because I didn’t unlock it at the time) wich pushed me up to the side of the river making my character unable to proceed in that direction. I tried every access around but it seemed impossible for me to get there at the time. It was so funny and unexpected, Pokemon is a glitchy game since gen 1, you gotta love this❤️

exact same thing happened to me. Fighting a sableye in a cave and then after battle glitched me in the wall. Kinda crazy that this is still happening. Trying to see if I can glitch into the crater paldea thing. Haven't beaten the game so don't think it will let me

You can do this in several places. There are caves around the steal titan area that are very tight and if you encounter a battle you are pushed back into the wall. Run, and you in the void. I played around for hours early game and you can't really interact with anything even wild pokemon

I remember going out of bounds in the original Diamond (imported from Japan) to catch Darkrai.

Going to Area Zero before unlocking it causes you to automatically go back up. It's like the fog around the Great Plateau in breath of the wild

I did this while watching your video. I ended up clipping through the river encountering a psyduck but it didn't let me battle it. Instead the game loaded me outside this cave in west province one. And it kept doing it. Dropped into void and it kept dropping me in that area. I assume because when I was riding that was the last land area i went to out of bounds.

When you haven't done most of the stories and you headed right into Area Zero, you'll just sent back where you landed before instead of getting in the Area zero. I've tested this before

I would be very interested to see how this interacts with event flags in the game because, potentially, this could allow you to trigger the end game Area Zero events early, which would be a massive skip for speedrunners.

area zero is a no, but scaling the mountains around victory road can lead to being loaded in to that zone

For having discover a Glitch to go in the restricted area of the Map without this cave, i Can tell every area is accessible but some river are trap, they have 2 "ground" one for the Map design and one almost side to side for the river design so be carefull

i did ths accidentally while ev training spatk against houndour in the first cave, i couldnt go anywhere as there were walls still blocking me from moving and I had to fly to escape

can you go to the top right corner of paldea where the dlc area is? i would like to know if theres something up there

found if you activate a picnic it respawns you back at the cave still out of bounds, handy if you get stuck

I was shiny hunting bagon in an outbreak and was getting frustrated as I was 3hrs in using sandwich, 60+ outbreak and shiny charm......turns out 90% of the bagon were spawning in the void beneath a pillar only noticed because one clipped with the surface! So many missed shinies....

If you wan to get to the pokemon leauge early, an easier glitch is to get on miriadon/kioradon and jump onto the mountain behind the school from inside the school. it respawns you right in front in frount of it.

I fell out of bounds multiple times but I couldn't swim at the time and got respawned. Also happened in a cave.

Now we need to find out how the out of bounds of area zero itself looks like

I wonder if you could picnic in area zero if it thinks you're still on the normal map

There may be a way to get to Area 0 early the area is just one big trigger for the warp, no matter how I entered(Above, Below, From the side, while gliding, while climbing, while climbing up etc.) but there are two things I can’t get to even attempt to work, enter via a Pokémon battle or while in a picnic, it’s a bit complicated but there is a platform you can stand on that let’s you walk on foot but the ground is weird like in the mountain in the north east and will rarely let a picnic happen even though it is perfectly flat and the wild Pokémon that spawn there seem to be somewhat trapped by a not real barrier

Looks like you'll be able to get to area zero early that's insane😳

I don't think so. If you have te climbing mount you can climb up to Crater but if you jump into Area 0, you will be teleported to where you were before.

the loading zone to area zero doesnt exist until you beat the game, if you try to enter it before, you void out and wake up where you were before. nintendo unity tried to teleport with a cheat into area zero at the beginning of the game but they voided out too so it propably doesnt even exist before

I fell through Area Zero at the roaring moon cave. I fell forever but landed and got respawned at the cave

Im gonna have to find a save file that has not unlocked area zero yet and see if u can get behind the closed gate too. And see if the void spot you found can accees A0 too

Is not strange that you are in area zero from the point you enter. There is no mini map for area zero and if you enter area zero using the gate close to Medali, you will see that your map indicates you are in the gates while exploring Area Zero.

Yeah, and if you jump and glide from the crater walls the map will show your entering point exactly where you fell

Yea i went into a void by accident when I fought a gible that spawned in the walls of a cave 😅

You can clip back in bounds by flying or finding a pond in the surface

I doubt you could get to area zero early. If you jumped into the crater even from the zero gate before you beat the main story lines it reloads you where you were before jumping into the crater

Sequencing breaking is gonna be fun.

Skipping school is already the most sequence breaking thing you can do. You can't progress through the story at all, but you can unlock almost every checkpoint early (including the league by CLIMBING into it) and get lots of Pokemon/items, even without a mount.

What if you hatch it in the speed fly zone..

U can normally enter the pokemon league area early but u can't progress cause u fail the test...though area zero is cool to enter but too bad can't really use them to beat the the professor

I got knocked outta the map my a yungoos in the first cave where u meet the legendary. Spent an hour trying to get into area zero but I would always fall through when I got close to it

You wont be able to acces area zero before you reach that point in the story you will just be put back as you would if you fell in water without miraidons swim ability

Happened to me yesterday when climbing somewhere else

I was able to reach out of bounds from a part of Dalizapa passage

Imagine seeing a shiny while you're down there and not being able to encounter it

All I'm going to say is inlet grotto battle anything close to ridge wall and run towards North Paldean Sea mountains.

This is the waterfall in the Area zero cave? You can go out of bound in Area Zero's hidden cave waterfall if you climb all the way up.

sadly even if you get into area zero super early, those paradoxes won't obey you :(

I was in the void once after a lavitar attacked me in a cave. The battle forced me behind a stone in the cave and when the battle stopped I could not move inside the cave and behind me was just sky. I was SO scared. I eventually jumped into the sky and landed in water.There was supposed to be a lake and it was that exact same lake, but glitchy. To my left, where the cave had been there were only glitchy shards like the ones we can see in the video. I was so scared but luckily i could just fly to some random pkmn center and everything resetted (I hope without any damage to the game. Does anyone know if this causes damage? Gives me instant missingno. feelings that shit x,D )

I did it by accident in the cave where you get steel beam a week or so back. The mouth of the cave I got into battle and when I left the battle I was in the void

i found myself in the void after encountering a pokemon that spawned in the wall of a sea cave

It's obvious that black part of the map is DLC. Not because of the floating island but because you can walk over the line and grab items.

Funny thing is i just went into the void by complete accident not by the cave method only by randomly getting stuck on the floor and falling into the void. Basically if you jump and land on the perfect angle or get yourself stuck then you could go through the void nothing much though still interesting

Might as well make these bugs pokemon now

Now I want to know if you can get to area zero before the end game and what happens when you do

you can not, it just teleports you back to the surface

I reckon that a Pokémon employee watches all these vids, writes everything wrong with the game for the next patch, and then walks to the bin to put the notes in it

im starting to wonder if im the first person that been doing the out of bounds thing cuz now videos are being posted about this

Someone in the discord was able to clip out of bounds using the waterfall where iron valiant spawns. Maybe you can do something with that?

Not relating to the video. But I hope they make a minor update relating to the Sandwich minigame. The way the camera is placed makes it hard to make certain sandwiches. Some being off center, some about to slip. This mostly happens when you rush or put a lot of ingredients, especially bulky ingredients. So what I want is to rotate the camera wherever I want to make it a little easier. Like I said. Minor update. Nothing too big or crazy.
