Great video!!! Important to note if you’re configuring an expression pedal for accurate volume control the preferred setting will always need to be logarithmic as the human ear perceives changes in volume based on a logarithmic scale.. Whereas with a linear setting you will notice in comparison when moving the pedal up and down the volume will jump between quiet to loud and not have many gradients in-between.

Great video and so helpful thank you. As a result of this I bought the Ampero Switch and the Press. And the use of the touch pen is such a simple but very effective way of showing us what part of the screen you're actually tapping, so many presenters cover the screen with their hand so we have to guess what icon they're pushing!

Is it possible to plug in both volume pedal and the foot switch? I am aware there is only one EXP input on the Ampero 2 Stomp, but wondering if there is any method to connect both.

So its either or, you can’t have both….or is there an expamsion piece that lets have the option of both volume pedal and additional control switches?

What is the basic difference of stomp mode and patch mode ? Why we need to set tempo ? Does Ampereo two plays as a rhythm in the background in stomp mode ?

Have you or will you review an Arena 2000 using the Hotone (Ampero press,Ampero control)threw midi.Just wondering?Thanks.

I was seriously looking at the line 6 HX stomp, maybe XL or Pod Go, but now I’m seeing this recently released Ampero 2….lol. I’m hearing great things about it. But I have 2 questions for you. I understand snapshots is about using 1 preset to do 3 different things in HX. That seemed like a persuasive feature. Q:1 Does Ampero 2 have snapshots. If not it… is it even necessary on a unit like this? Q:2 Does it have a capo function? Many thanks once again.

Hi, I want to choose a few banks ( 3 patches) and change within the selected banks to perform in the stage. For example I want to select P01-1 as A, P05-1 as B and P33-1 as C and P05-01 as D and only these 4 want to quickly access in the 3 footswitch or dual external footswitch ?

I know this is off topic on this video, but can you do 4 cable method with this unit? A demo would be great

Footswitch or expression pedal, not both? Better to use a midi switcher to be able to use the expression pedal?

I don't have any experience with the M-Vave, but anything that sends MIDI will do.

Hi there! Thanks for making this videos!! I have a question, I have a Boss FS6 and wanted to make a momentary switch like the whammy ricochet's momentary switch. Can I do it with the ampero 2 stomp?

Help pls.. I only can set one side on dual sw to do Ctrl so it can turn on and off multi blocks, but the ether sw only do a single task,.. I can set dual sw đó dual multi stack on Hotone mini..( I do use a stereo cable for dual sw)

Can we use 2 modulations in 1 patch and also can we select different amps in 1 patch, and can we set to automatic match selected cab by amp sim 😅? Thank you

Hi excellent video! But I have some questions because my English is average. 1. When we buy this new Ampero 2, the switch pedal included in the package? 2. When I switch banks on the extra switch pedal the sound doesn't change, right? It's like in "standby mode". 3. When I switch the banks on the Ampero (now I don't mean the pedal switch), I mean by stepping on two switches at the same time, will I also get "standby mode"?

The extra footswitch and/or expression pedal is not included

It doesn’t fix the problem of only either one of the function is available at a time because it only has one exp/fs input ..I have both the expression pedal and foot switch but i can’t figure out how to make them both function at the same time ..plz advise..and thx for your video!

Any expression pedal will work. It doesn’t have to be the Ampero Press

With an Ampero Control, yes

Great video as always! I have an issue when using the Ampero Press as an expression and volume pedal at the same time. Hotone and every KZreadr advertise this pedal as being able to "use expression and volume at the same time". But I can't seem to have them do volume and expression independently. So my chain is as follows: Guitar to input of Ampero Press; Output of Ampero Press to input of Ampero unit; Expression out of Ampero Press to Exp 2 input of Ampero unit. When I'm trying to use a wah effect with this setup, it also affects the volume at the same time. How can I use the wah effect separately from the volume being affected with this setup? Please help. I appreciate it

Unfortunately, that's the way to make them work at the same time, but there's no way to work separately. Hope Hotone would allow more expression assigns on the unit and the ability to turn on/off, but using expression range.

@@kentwyngaard8803 I just realized it might work with MIDI expression like the Ampero control. You can set multiple parameters to one expression. Then set one of the footswitches to switch on/off for 2 blocks, 1 for wah, another for volume. The downside is having a bulky setup and having to connect the MIDI controller to an editor each time when you set up a new patch.

What about the Wah ? How can we have tthe wah function in one pedal including the switch ON/OFF?. In other words, is it possible to set an expression pedal like in the Ampero I, where the included pedal also has the switch function ? thx

Unfortunately no, as the Exp pedal input doesn't have a toe switch input. It's the same with the Headrush gigboard. A Toe switch input is needed in this case. However, if you were to use an Ampero Control along with an expression pedal, it would be a decent workaround.
