I'm so glad that you mentioned using a separate and stronger exfoliate on your body. I've recently bought the L'Oréal 10% pure glycolic acid and the Amlactin 15% lactic acid lotion. I have KP on my legs (mostly) and my arms. Right now I just alternate days. But I also would like to get a retinoid to use as well. And was thinking of using a stronger retinoid for the skin on my legs. Actually I'd like to have an in office chemical peel but on my face, arms and legs. I haven't heard of full body chemical peels that much but I'm sure they are being done. Btw, your videos are always very informative.

Thank you for this video, Doctor! 🙏🏽💗 Can you do a video specifically about how to restore skin after 25 years of severe chronic eczema from head-to-toe? That's my situation. I am Canadian and live in Canada. I have bad hyperpigmentation all over my body from the skin trauma from eczema. I'm at least 2 shades darker than my natural complexion and I absolutely hate the greyish hue hyperpigmentation tends to have on my skin. My eczema is under control (I'm not scratching anymore), but now I'm dealing with the aftermath of the mess it made on my skin. The dermatologists in my province in Canada are useless!!! All they do is diagnose you with Eczema and try to push topical steroids on you (which destroy your skin in the end) - and otherwise you're on your own to suffer and figure it out on your own. My eczema was life altering. It was a nightmare. People do not understand how bad eczema can be, how long it can last for and how much it can hinder your life. The skin is the largest organ of the body....think of burn victims....when the burns are severe enough and cover too much of their body, they pass away. Do you do international consultations? Because I really would appreciate talking to a P.O.C. dermatologist about my skin issues from eczema.

Hello Dr. Stephens. I really enjoy your channel. Can u answer a question? Do you know any good products an individual can purchase to help with Festoons? I’m not trying to do any laser or fillers, so I’m hoping there’s some products a person can purchase with this issue. Again, thanks for the great information u give. Have a bless day.

Thank you for this video. I was thinking of starting an exfoliating in my skin care routine, but wasnt sure how to. Is it okay to use benzoyl peroxide to cleanse before exfoliating? Or should I go for something gentler? I have oily acne prone skin.

Good Day! I’ve been watching your videos for hours now. I appreciate all of the information, I think that I am on overload, lol. After watching the video I’m still a bit confused on which products to use. I need to do a peel at home, I also need an everyday skin regime. I have very dry skin and need a cleanser and moisturizer. I also have some dark spots that I want to get rid of as well. You mentioned mendelic(I believe that’s it) and it sounds like that would be perfect for my skin. Can you point me in the direction of some items to use? Thank You

Hi Dr. S , after going through 6 months of acute stress my skin has thinned and lost volume. My hair has also thinned but both have improved somewhat over the last month. I’m 35 and have always had a great skin, but now I’m wondering if it’ll ever come back. Can stressed thin skin come back and recover?

Dr. Alexis, you recommended Azelaic acid for hyperpigmentation and breakouts, wanted to thank you! I’ve been using it for two years straight since I watched a video from you and my skin is completely clear and glowing!!! It’s also helped me to simplify my skin care routine. I’ve recently incorporated tranexamic acid and *chefs kiss*. Thank you

I first started using the Naturium one, and saw fantastic results, and then I used Finacea which was a bit stronger but once my skin got used to it, it was even better! Now currently I use the FaceTheory A15 one, because I’m in Canada and it’s easier / faster to get than Finacea! Hope this helps. Also, my skin type is dark skin, dry-balanced, and I dealt with a lot of hormonal breakouts, hyperpigmentation. large pores and congestion.
