If you are watching this video, you probably know the importance of an English level test in the life of a teacher. Knowing the correct level of a learner allows us to save time when lesson planning, anticipate problems and better prepare the student so they can achieve their learning goals. Placing students at the wrong level will not only lead to unmotivated learners but will generate frustration both for you and for the people involved in your class.
In this video, I´ll share my "way" of testing my new students with simple fun activities that will give you help place learners in one of the six levels of the Common European Framework of References for Languages (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).

Thank you!
Thank you! I'd like to know if this evaluation you do to know your students levels works as an pre-assessment test? (diagnostic test) have you ever had a student who wants to know their level on the first lesson? Hope you can help me!

Sorry for the delay! I do these things when we start lessons. I can tell them an approximate level in the first class, as long as they send me a writing, the results of their grammar test etc prior to their class.
Thanks, but the music is kinda confusing couldn't get every word clearly

Can you recommend a Grammar test that I can use or adapt to test the level of the students?.

Hi, one popular option is the Cambridge English Placement Test, which assesses grammar, vocabulary, and reading skills. Another option is the Oxford Online Placement Test, which also evaluates grammar proficiency. Both tests provide detailed results and can be adapted to suit your students' needs. 😊
How to the students pay you ? before a lesson or after ? and by which payment of payment?

I would pay my tutor after each lesson, then once we had weekly classes, my mother started paying her at the end of every month.

Students typically pay for lessons either before or after the lesson, depending on the arrangement you have with them. As for payment methods, it can vary.
