    Thank you! This is the most informative USJ video I've seen, I'll be going next week so this was uploaded right on time for me. Just to confirm, we're not allowed to bring our reusable tumblers inside right? Only pet bottled drinks are allowed?

  • @BreakofDawn

    @BreakofDawn

    2 ай бұрын

    Yeah it’s a little confusing. According to the klook website, it sounds like you’re allowed to bring reusable bottles, so long as they’re empty, and after you get in the park you can fill them up at a water fountain. But then on the official usj site it says, “All liquids brought into the park will be inspected. We may check the content of beverages or ask you to drink a small amount.” And then under prohibited items it says, “Thermoses and plastic bottles may be brought into the park. However, these are limited to one 500 ml container per person.” So I’m not sure if that means your container has to be that small or if the amount of liquid you bring cannot exceed 500ml

  • @tokyokenchan

    @tokyokenchan

    2 ай бұрын

    Hi, as for pet bottle, you can bring in withtout any limitation in number, as long as around 500ml bottole (not big one). There used to be limited up to 1 bottle per person, but that was changed in summer 2023. For tumblers, if it's something with thermo bottles or plastic bottle, what's called 水筒 in Japanese, you can bring in. But not tumbler like the Starbucks one. There is a station you can fill water inside the park.

    Very Good. I have been to Universal Studios in Orlando several times, they don't have Nintendo world yet though. I don't think we will visit Universal in Japan however, I would rather see other things. I would also recommend doing attractions when the parades are on because the lines can be shorter.

    Hi, my son and I will be going to USJ on April 15, 2024 (Monday - GREEN low season) for his birthday (already purchased entrance tickets via Klook). Our priorities are Super Nintendo World, Harry Potter, Demon Slayer and MHA. We plan to get there 1hr 30mins before published opening time. Do you suggest we still need to purchase Express 4 passes?

  • @tokyokenchan

    @tokyokenchan

    2 ай бұрын

    If you go there that early, you can get Nintendo either without restriction or with timed entry. But basically, the magic of going there early only works for the first attraction or 2, and the park gets busy. After that, it depends on how you both take it seriously to be on those rides. Right now, I see (I only checked Klook for now) Express Pass for Harry Potter's Forbidden journey and Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia + 1 more ride. It's WITHOUT Nintendo entry but for less than $100 which seems much better than mine. I think it gives you more ease of mind that you can let him see those almost for sure, as Demon Slayer was 3 hours wait for my visit. But it's not a cheap option and April is a little low busy time, so that's something to consider.

    @@kerri-annkumar5752 Hi. I cannot make video soon so I can explain a bit about it here. Express pass's "availability" and "time slots" are different depending on the date you visit, so the only thing you can do is to choose from what are available for the date of your visit. It changes everyday. Yes, it is complicating honestly. (1) From Express Pass page, you choose one of the pass, for example “Fun and Thrills” Please read the explanation that this is including usage of express lane for Mario Kart, My Hero Academia etc. If you need express pass for other rides, you have to choose other Express Pass. (2) click the (+) next to the price, this is the number of express pass you like to get. (3) and click the blue button “SELECT A DATE”and you’ll see the available date. (4) For example if you are visiting on June 15, this pass is AVAILABLE. If June 20th, NOT AVAILABLE. (5) If available on the date you visit, Click the date on the calendar and click “NEXT” (6) Choose session from the list on the right. Some time slots let you in Nintendo World in the morning, some of them in the afternoon. (7)Going back to (4) above, if this “Fun and Thrills” are not available on the date you visit, you need to look around. For example on June 20th, “Fun and Thrills” are NOT available, but "Fun&Theater" is available. But again, this is not for the same attractions. So basically, you have to look around the site for the available express pass. Some dates, none of the express pass are available.

If you live in Japan it might be worth as one time experience but if you just come as a tourist you might be better off doing more sightseeing. Unless you are a hardcore fan or course haha
