I'm now a sophomore and I aim to commit myself to my school's advocacy club and NHS if I get in during high school, and that's it. I also will have to work so that's why I limited myself to just those 2. I love advocating and scholarship so that's another reason why I just focused on those clubs.

Honestly I went into high school with this mentality. Freshman year I was in Marching Band, XC, Baseball, Ping Pong club, and Jazz band. Sophomore year I still had MB, XC, and JB, but picked up the pit for the musical, and instead of baseball I did track. This year Im still in XC, MB, Track, and Jazz band, but I plan on going back to ping pong, I can’t do pit due to instrumentation, and I started going to finance club. So don’t be afraid to switch things around. In all honesty I probably forgot some things. But the reason I choose the things I choose for Junior year was because those are the things I thought were fun the last two years. In both XC, MB and even track I’ve taken up leadership roles in those programs. If you can alway go for leadership, but that doesn’t mean for every club I’m going to have a leadership role. And that’s okay. TLDR: I had a small rant

When I’m in high school I will probaly just join the basket ball and football team if i make it
As someone who's going to be a freshman soon, i wanted to make the next 4 years only dedicated to studies - but i think I'll focus on 4 things I'm truly passionate about and try to have fun

how tall are you
This is especially true. Some of friends in high school are all taking 3+ AP classes and will burn themselves out in their junior year.
That's why ive stayed in marching band for all of my high school years. It might not be a group about "getting educated" or preparing for college, but it's led to me developing some friendships that are gonna last for a long time and taught me about leadership and team chemistry.
I like how it was a 1 pound weight he couldn’t even lift
Exactly, I played violin super seriously throughout highschool and on my app I could write down that I played in TEN different orchestras and my all-state orchestra
8th and also this will help so much, thank you!
I love your videos!
Him saying my problem is that I take to much on, me playing video games until 11pm realising my assignment is due in one hour
Yeah I literally have a few months left in high school and I'll be in College soon...and now I'm finding this video... 🙂 My luck is actually bad af 😊
The paper airplane at the start killed me
Your search bar in this short is what I think everyday and I have 1 great way to cure it if one thing is true and exists/ can exist
I love how when he searches how to cure cancer, it says in bitlife
"How to cure cancer with food"😂😂
"How do you know that?" "I follow *Josh Otsunaya MYEH HEH-* "
I’m gonna be a senior next fall. I’m exited for the seniority and everything, but kinda scared cuz next year I’ll be off to college, and I’m not ready for that. 😭
Thankyou for teaching me these tips!
When ur only allowed to take one club for 6 months before changing 😭😭
Thank you so much man. Just now I think I was changed by your advice.
This very good advice! The unis want to see commitment and leadership, which can only be built up over time!
thanks im going into high school next year and these videos are super useful
Literally everyone day i watch all of your vids 5 times just to get good grades and i really like your exam tactics
Imagine your highschool having clubs
This advice is da best I've ever seen
I love how he just make a very informative videos for us and it's on shorts so he doesn't waste our time with 8 or 10 minutes video.
then theres my school with 0 clubs
As a current 8th grader, this is very helpful!
I appreciate you it's very helpful advice
That's exactly what I did - Helped a ton

i have passed high school happily .
Band taking up all my time
the "how to cure cancer"was accurate though lmao
i’m in bsa and marching band, two activities i live doing and will help me in the future, band can help me get a really good scholar ship and in bsa if i reach eagle scout than it can help a lot in the future as well and in both activities i’m learning a lot of things like leadership, communication, teamwork etc. and the best part is that i’m having fun while doing it
When you don't have clubs in your high school:
gaming, sleeping, listening to music, drawing
me who has 0 commitments:
I so much like your narrative voice... You could teach the most boring classes and I would definitely listen.. 😀
Thanks for the tip❤❤
Wow, this is insanely helpful considering I just graduated like 2 weeks ago!
Thanks for the info I just got into highschool i really hope it works
“How to cure cancer with food” some very intuitive minds
That's actually really good advice, I do basketball, art and poetry I also really like computer science so those are my main things
Fun fact my school have 0 clubs or anything like that
The fact someone people actually search how to cure cancer with food
And then there is me who does nothing and is in 0 clubs and has participated in 0 activities this year
I made this mistake in primary school... I am still doing it again next year AND applying for head student (not even for college or anything like that)
because of him, my life is smooth fr
I'm currently a sophomore but I find this helpful. Last year, during my freshman year, I didn't join any clubs, due to my old school not offering them. I'm now a sophomore and I aim to commit myself to my school's advocacy club and NHS if I get in during high school, and that's it. I also will have to work so that's why I limited myself to just those 2. I love advocating and scholarship so that's another reason why I just focused on those clubs.
I joined all clubs left the ones i didn't really cared about and stuck with the ones I liked
Thank you very much
¡Hey! I was wondering if you could possibly make videos on how to prepare for high school and/or college like for TSI, SAT, ACC those kinds off tests like how to prepare for them and have tips
Me having social anxiety and hating school so much that I don’t take any…
Thanks for it! Next year I can have a good high school
For me it's FFA, Oral interp, Bowling, and Theater. I'm actually on the student council as a senior class rep for the 2022-2023 year. I didn't really think I be interested in FFA but when I joined my Animal Science class as a Sophomore, I LOVE agriculture. Try new things, you never know what you'll love to do.
"How to cure cancer with food"💀
Thank you, i’m going into 9th grade and i needed this haha. Can you do more highschool videos?
Thanks Gohar!!
Second semester of freshman year, I ended up having 8 hours of meeting plus a job and 2 mentorships and a volunteer position and then got elected vp of my med club. Honestly, I loved it, I just ended up burning myself out because of school. My advice, do it during the summer and then apply it academically the next year (and maybe keep some stuff).
Imagine doing so much so colleges can approve that you can give them money
“Here’s how to enjoy high school AND get into a good college.” Pandemic: “Now hold on there bud.”
I love art
Ty for the help
High school taught me how to pretend to be okay.
Im in my final year of Highschool taking like 3 easy subjects since I worked hard last year and currently I’m enjoying life in school, no stress whatsoever.
Thank you need this cuz im gonna get to high school next year
Most kids at my high school sometimes just decide to not go to school that day. My brother skipped 4 months of school and somehow managed to graduate. He probably barely passed.
This is how you enjoy high school study when there's a test coming up have at least 5 friends and be apart of something like a sport
Watching this after having finished high school
My school has a chess club and a robotics club, I like neither💀
Me who is in a school that is a middle school , high school AND college:... thanks mate , that really helped x plus this is actual good advice
Fuck i just happened to find your channel at the end of high school FML
My kid has no extra activities because her high school switched to all exam to pass classes, no points for hw. She’s a bad test taker. Everything is pretty stressful.
Trying to enjoy school but homework brings me down
I wish Sweden had clubs 😔 Seems so fun!
wish i could go to an American high school, i dont even have clubs here 😭
I made this in primary school. I am in grade six and I have taken many leadership positions and am also in an extra curricular program inside my school. My school does not have homework but the extra curricular has homework and it is a heavy load even at home. One time 3 days in a row I didn’t get any recess or lunch breaks because of leadership meetings. I know not to do this is high school but goddam am I proud of myself.
