Maybe I'm just tone deaf, or have a tin ear, but I'm not hearing a difference. This is not a criticism of you or your technique; just have to wonder why that is.

Motion Array just give an example of how to use this technique that is not distinct enough. So it's quite unnoticeable or feel a bit insignificant. I actually use this technique a lot when I cut the music with something abrupt happening in the scene. Doesn't matter if the client have good headphone or not, If apply correctly they should be able to notice it.
@mikeboychuk8809

@@Adeadlysoul wow such a smarty, a tip is to edit in good headphones initially then use bad/ cheap headphones to finish up the audio... but i'm sure you knew that, i mean you do sound so smart. Also i didn't say to do that for the costumer, he was having a hard time hearing the difference so that could help. but i digress you knew that, you are so smart...
you need to add a fuller echo onto it to make it sound like it actually tapers off into the background - imo this would still be too abrupt for me

Realllly solid tip my dude. If you need only a very short ending or to extend a single note further, I have found that cutting out the end of that note, slowing down via the speed/duration tab, and checking the maintain pitch box does a pretty good job depending on the final destination of your video. I used to use this all the time for sports venue editing.

Still sounds somewhat harsh. I'd probably underscore it with some sort of soft reverberated dull boom, like a bass drum with a little less kick to it. And let it wear off for about 2 or 3 seconds. That generally gives me the best results.
