The old patio looked weird. That was a nice make-over, although I would have preferred a larger area of the covered portion. Awesome job.

Thank you for the great insight as always Anto Mano! I agree this was a pretty awesome make-over from the previous old patio design, the homeowner made the previous patio cover himself over 40 years ago, so I tried to stay close and honor the original design. With a little bit of a more modern and clean look. I really like how it all came together, we will be doing another one of the backside of his house, mostly solid. Happy 4th of July! Everyday Patio

Great work but, I been working with elite wood aluminum patios for 9 years and how come you dont put your switchs an dimmers in the inside of the 2×6 post wraps insted of on the post ? An when you prep its alot easier to make the holes on the floor for the can lights an the fan saves you alot more time an hassle but, still great job an they do sale like hot cake.

Hey Andrew, great points. I install with about 5 crews. My dad had even more, everybody has there own way to do the electrical. I personally run all my electrical in the 2 by 6, on this job we ran it with some conduit. I don't like running it into the 3 by 3, I've seen people screw into it too many times. But that is the most common way people are taught, as far as drilling the roof holes on the ground. I like to mark out and show the clients where the lights/fan will go, before we drill any holes. Helps us avoid any confusion with electrical placement. Sounds like you really know what your doing, if you ever need any work, feel free to give us a call or email. Have a great rest of your day. Appreciate the comment, Alec Everyday Patio
