That’s because other channels cater to beginners. Beginners will be completely lost watching this video. This video is faster because it assumes you already have an intermediate level of Davinci knowledge. Which I love because there’s already plenty of beginner content out there. But it’s not fair to say other channels “waste time” explaining things.

Im talking abt those channel who spends half of their time telling what they are going to teach in the tutorial...rather then teaching the actual thing! I was talking abt these kinda channels , they just increase the length of their video for the sake of it'

@@zanehoyer With the quality of the advice one might even speculate that you might have actually read a few bits in the manual! I always have my fingers crossed that a new talent will emerge here on YT more focused towards the intermediate to advanced audience and assume that much of the basics can be omitted while focusing on the good stuff! (Without skipping Studio Only content!) eg: advanced 3d modelling, texture mapping, environmental elements such as particles and z-channel depth effects... Just a thought. :)

This is the best tutorial channel I've ever seen. It's too valuable. Hope you will release more video, always supporting you🥰

damn i might go from pr to danvinci it feels good you are the reason for me to cause u make it all so simple to understand and the quality is amazing edit : i have a question so i have a 8gb dell laptop and gpu is nvidiea MX230 so do u think i can run davinci on it smoothly? cause for me premiere pro lags

The lowest amount of RAM I've had is 16 gigs. I know that DaVinci has a lot of settings to help with lag. The biggest change for me was setting the render cashe to User. This renders the clip onto your timeline so you get smooth playback.

Great video I've really learned a lot. I only have two questions (related to the text counter): 1. When trying to put symbols like the shekel instead of dollar davinci won't recognize it and it will give me a square instead. Is there a way around this? 2. If I want to pause on the end number, how can i do it? Let's say for example I want to end the end number so I need it separate.

1. Hmm I've never had that problem before. I would try using a different font and if nothing else contact Black Magic. 2. To pause on the end number, right click your text clip and turn it into a new compound clip. Go to the last frame of your clip and cut it. Right click that 1 frame of your clip, and click "change clip speed" Then click the box that says freeze frame. Now you can drag out that frozen frame as long as you want. When you're done select both your clips (the frozen frame, and the number counter) and turn it into a new compound clip if you want to animate them as one.

Make sure you’re under the text tab in the inspector. If you can see the text edit box and other controls, you’re in the right place so look for the little white box that says colour if it’s not there must be a glitch??

A lot of the effects I do require the studio version of daVinci resolve sadly.
