I was watching you when you first came on the internet scene many years ago. I've not visited your work for a few years, and this brings back so many memories, and also gets my creative juices flowing. You do inspire, Brooke!
Yes! Can't wait to watch this on my lunch break!

I have been following you for years... you are an inspiration. Thank you for being you.
you explain very well step by step, it's so motivational to see you working. Thank you so much, greetings from Spain!
Thank you. I have started buying your classes & with all I have going on right now that has stripped most sence of self & my identity, photography feels like the last grain of me I have left so i can't say thanks enough. Watching this grain grow again. x
Love it!thank you so much!I really would like to see more! You are great!
Thank you for sharing such an informative example of you editing. This is a tremendously helpful video!!! Have a wonderful rest of your Wednesday Brooke :)
you are a really good teacher. Even though the process can seem complex, you make it a lot easier to understand. That in itself takes skill and patience, thank you :)
You are my favorite person to get my brain moving in the morning! I had to grab some tea and see your magic. I had to giggle because I need to get better at planning, ha!
You are just awesome in creating composites.
Wow! Awesome video I'm glad I found your channel and work!
absolutely beautiful image
Thank you again brooke!

Thank you for sharing, I always wanted to do an underwater shots and now I how to accomplish it without being really underwater.
I see where I may have gone wrong now in my last image. Thank you so much!
Wow 😍 truly wow 🙏😍
great talk!
I loved this one so much. Thank you for sharing your process so in detail. I so enjoy listening to you and I learn something new even if just little things every time. Thank you, Brooke. (You probably already know but in the off chance you don't I love this shortcut: Option/Alt + clicking on the eye icon hides/shows all other layers.)

I'm cyber stocking you! 😜 This is Gallagher! LOL 😊
I love how you added the shadows on the dress and light on the leg using curves. Attention to such detail is really important in making an edit look as realistic as possible. Do you have any other tips on things one should make sure to add/do in order to make compositing look realistic? Do you ever look at other images similar to what you are creating to see what elements need to be added to make it look as natural and real?
Love it! What computer are you using btw?
I am so in love with your work and have been following you for years now! I have always appreciated that you teach the world your craft! This image is stunning and I am obsessed with the water so I hope to be able to create images like this someday. Question for you: to get underwater stock images, would using a gopro be sufficient? I don't have the money for expensive underwater gear for my DSLR but I do have a gopro that is waterproof. I'm just curious if the resolution from that will work well enough in photoshop to create something like this.
Dope! I would call it: "Shaden (Shade'n)Water Effect"
Yay for WWW!
Wow.
Hey Brooke, try this to hide all layers but one... alt click on the eye next to the layer you want visible, or right-click the eye and click show/Hide all other layers.

Ah yes I do use that shortcut most of the time, but I had been messing with layers for the recording and decided to go the long way for various reasons re: recording ease. It's a long story, but I don't usually make myself suffer :D
Would you consider selling your underwater stock images?
Love Brooke but her style has not evolved much over the years; always back to the same looks. I'd love to see something totally new from her. Maybe even film experimenting.
