This teaching works. I've been practicing this way of eating since I was 13 and now I'am 34, happily married, with 4 children and when I go to my oldest sons junior high school they have repeatedly mistaken me for a student. My weight is between 125 and 130lb, my skin is clear and I'am trying to master 1 meal every other day now :). All Praises Due to Allah

Ameree Valdez , when weaning off off 3 meals plus snacks I would suggest for your 12 year old to replace all snacks plus breakfast and lunches with fruits and veggies. Have your starches at dinner time with more veggies and no fruit. Example - breakfast could be a fruit smoothie or fruit salad. The natural sugar from the fruit will give you a boost. If your child is use to a heartier breakfast oatmeal with fruit, avocado sprouted wheat toast, if you're not trying to be vegan, a vegetarian omelet is good. The food just needs to be real and not processed. For your child, pack a healthy school lunch. I usually do some water in a stainless steel water bottle, crackers with almond butter or a vegetarian sandwich with some baked chips and a homemade cookie or dessert. For yourself, eat a vegetable salad for lunch no liquid lunch. And if you have to snack stick to fresh fruits. Dinner time can include your starches with veggies, if you eat meat, don't mix your starches with it, it's bad for digestion. I eat navy beans, black beans, lentils, eggs, or chickpeas for my protein. When your child reaches 16 you can wean their meals down like an adult, but I wouldn't stress it now. For yourself after about a week and a half to two, wean your smoothie down to an herbal tea, and your salad down to small fruit salad or a piece of fresh fruit. Keep water flowing throughout the day, but don't drink it while you eat. Drink it an hour before or after you eat. Drinking while eating dilutes your digestive fluid and is terrible for digestion. You will release a lot of toxins eating this way. Just give yourself at least 30 days to adjust. Eventually, your stomach will shrink and won't require nearly as much to get full. Replace your tea with water or drink it without any sugar or honey, replace all your fresh fruit lunch with tea with honey, and replace your snacks with water or sugarless tea. Your stomach only produces enough digestive fluid to break down 1 meal every 24 hours. That is why eating 1 meal a day is so good. I've almost mastered eating 1 meal every 48 hours and I feel amazing and my menstrual cycles, my skin, and my energy is fantastic. You can do this we need to pass down healthy legacies to our children and be strong in these times :)

Peace, Sistren.... I hope your journey has gone well... the Buddha recommended one-meal a day over 2500+ years ago, and monks and those around the Buddhist culture have been doing this for centuries, well before any-Muhammad or Dr. Sebi. I've been listening to thee honorable minister for nearly 40 years and continue to respect all of the teachings, but must point out that Sebi or any Muhammad isn't the source of this wise-teaching. We now are only more technically-aware of what is what now, in our more scientific age. May you attain and maintain your goals. May you have peace.

The best foods are fruits and vegetables: no kale(eat some spinach) eat turnip root but not the salad: eat rudabaker as much garlic and onion as you desire. No sweet potatoes ( my goodness) hard on digestive system long grain brown rice: fried foods is death: (clogging arteries) line the veins causing the heart to pump harder (over worked heart) this is scary: no belly buster beans (lima beans) only eat the small navy beans (stock your house with navy beans couple hundred pounds)

Also the kale is much better than the spinach guys. Spinach is a hybrid and breaks down to starch and mucus inside the body due to the fact that its molecular structure is incomplete. Garlic is acid and will destroy cells. It ranks I think 2.0 on the Ph scale guys use ginger in replacement of garlic. Use lettuces and kale instead of spinach.

38:09 Eating good food according to the law of life is not enough. You can't eat good food physically and eat poor food spiritually. This(points to head) gotta be in harmony with this(points to belly), so if u gonna put food food in your stomach u gotta put good wisdom in your head AND THEN brotha u dont just eat to stay pretty; u eat to live! Well what do u mean live? How to eat to live. What is live what does that mean? Eat to live; live means live, live means live , to stay around, to extend your days.? It means a lot more than that. How to eat to gain the physical strength to live. "To live" Means to act in accord with moving principals, to act in accord with with principles that come out of the law of life which is love, a carnal mind scripture says is death, but a spiritual mind the fruit of it is peace, when u dont have peace an contentment of mind even the good food that u put into your system is disturbed by a mind that is rebelling against doing the right thing. Do u follow me? So the thing that has to go hand in hand with good eating is good acting so when u act right and eat right u have peace and contentment of mind so the things that upset the wicked don't upset the righteous so u can extend an extend an extend and extend your days.

Hello Dear Family, I'm going to step away from social media and KZread for a little while, I know to some of you it appears that the brother has cooled off, or brushing us off. Be reassured this is not the case, It appears I have some deep self examination to do, foresight and insight that I need to gain. Thank you...for understanding. Be blessed.

Eat one meal a day. But the operative word in the sentence is meal. Don't be spooky. Make sure that you eat plenty of protein. Protein rich foods like Navy bean soup and quinoua are excellent. A lot of brothers that lift heavy like steak for the createne. If you like steak or lamb, make sure it's kosher or halal and try not to eat to much meat. It isn't good for you. Keep your calorie intake high. Remember, the one meal is a two hour window. So you have plenty of time to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and protein. I take supplements and vegetarian protein powder. A soldier must work out hard and eat hard. Fruit should not be light in the ass. Salaam Alaikum

One more thing. Don't forget to get plenty of rest. Absolutely necessary.. Must have at least 7 hours of rest per night. As you know, the body has a cycle. I try to retire every day at the same time; even on the weekends. Resting properly is vital to longevity. Remember, the point of eating one meal a day is longevity. Eat plenty of garlic. There's no such thing as to much garlic.

Honorable Master Minister Farrakhan, what if you are diabetic? we have to eat to take our medicine sometimes,MORE than once a day. Women and Men come in all shapes and sizes no matter how much they eat or don't eat. You always have a Wonderful message but there are some questions I have about that.
