You might want to note somewhere (or make a pinned comment) that the default keybind for opening the enb menu ingame is the END key using this mod. This can be changed using the optional file that comes with the mod, as shown front and center on the mod page in the nexus. I'm noticing it a lot in the comments Excellent video!

Its not super bad but my fps counter wont work so I dont have an exact number id say its like around 30 fps and it keeps going up and down

There’s an fps counter in the enb menu itself. Does it always stay at 30fps or does it bounce around? You might try another one. There’s some that aren’t as hard on your fps

I confirm this still works in 2024, also if your trying to get rid of the litterbox option in the ENB but still cant figure out how to bring up the in game ENB menu try pressing the END key. Awesome tutorial btw its a like from me for sure

I got the ENB to work but it seems to have disabled some of my other mods like one that changed the background of the Pip-Boy and one that changed the idiot savant to something else. Not sure if it’s the ENB’s fault or if there’s a conflict somewhere

I have an issue where nothing ever pops up for me when I try to use a different ENB than 0.283 just curious if anyone knows how I can fix it

Does this installation method also work for Mod Organizer 2? I recently started using this mod manager because I didn't like the Nexus version, but noticed this mod manager uses "cloud" profiles when installing mods. In other words, mods don't actually install into the steam fallout 4 data folder, but into another folder created by the mod manager. This caused me some headaches because I couldn't figure out why my mods were not working when the file path were correct when using the mod manager download and install option on Nexus. Turned out that I had to enable modding in the ini file that was in the "cloud" profile.

Long time Fallout fan here, excellent and clear-cut video though. I just wanted to know the name of your outfit mod, possibly something from Call of Duty? Thanks.

yoho, im having a issue with the enb series, everytime i go to their website and click v478 (which is the latest release as of right now) it doesnt show any of the actual installation links, it just sort of takes me to the front page of the website, but if i click v420 then it shows me stuff to install so do i just choose the older release because i cant install the new one?

The files won’t even show up for me

I get super bright white pixel blocks in the sky when it's night and I've uninstalled the enb, nac x and looked in my enb settings in-game and I can't find a solution to this problem anywhere

shift+ enter doesnt open the ENBs menu for me, it does nothing. these black bars and 60 fps limit suck and im stuck with them on. edit: i found the ini folder for the letterboxes but i cant find the fps limiter, but the key for opening the menu is the END key for some reason

when i downloaded my enb and extracted it there was no d3d11.dll or d3dcompiler files . i used ENBSeries v0.496 for Fallout 4

You don't put the enb file from 'Quality Settings' in the enbseries folder; you put it in the Fallout 4 folder and replace the existing file.

quick question. on the enbdev site, when i try to download the latest one(v0, 478) the tab it takes me to doesnt have a download button, but the other versions do. do you know of somewhere i can download it from? or would it not be a big issue installing the previous latest version? i am trying to isntall the same exact one as yours and the description states to have the lastest enb binaries

People change the key binding in the enb files. If you find enblocal.ini in the fallout 4 game folder you can customize the key it uses. 33 is the code for page up. You’ll want to change the one that says keycombination.

There could be a different default keybind with the latest version of enb. I would google the possible keybinds for the enb menu.

In that video I was using a 3070, but I’ve also run that enb with a 1660 and it worked pretty well. If you don’t have very much vram, I would stick to the 2k texture packs.

Sometimes I have found in the past that the graphical settings may interfere with the ENB overlay and the Steam overlay, it may have something to do with whether your Fallout 4 launcher settings are set to Windowed or borderless mode? Hope this helps :)

It’s a key binding that can be changed through one of the enb ini files. The author of the enb can make it whatever they want. I would search for common enb key binds and try a few of those until one works. Or you can look up the location of the file and change it to what you want.

For this mod it's the END key. The Optional File will change this back to shift+enter, along with one other keybind. It's explained in the mod page

had this issue without enb before, just delete everything in your fo4 files then reinstall

Go into your normal fallout 4 launcher and reset the graphics settings to be full screen

Unfortunately you have to be using the steam version to modify the game files like in the video. Microsoft doesn’t let you modify.

You don’t have to mess with those. Those settings are changed by the enb preset, ghost in this case.
