Honestly I think KZread hates beat channels because we want to re direct people off of KZread to our beat store, also it’s saturated af and even if you do everything right you might still only get like 5 views. I had a beat channel and did it for 3 years and got about 300 subs and still only got like 15-20 views per beat, barely any likes or comments and barely any sales. Shit was depressing 😢

Started uploading and my schedule is 2 Beats a week, since I study medicine. My niche was Afrobeats and Afro R&B but I'm thinking, for this niche especially, it would be better to just put the artists in a type beat. So Tems Type Beat, Burna Boy Type Beat, Rema Type Beat, Libianca/ Omah Lay etc. Haven't had the most success with just putting Afrobeats and Afro R&B Type Beat into the title. Anyone else got some tips on that?

It’s difficult to mold your sound to align with the artists that’s popular in the type beats niche and force yourself to make beats you really don’t feel like making. Especially when your production sounds nothing like those artists’ style

Is there such thing as a “dead” channel? Some people are saying no matter how consistent u stay and how good ur beats are, if ur channel is “dead” it will not grow

My beat channel is a perfect example. Once you get off the wave by not being consistent, it’s over. You’re at a lower spot than when you first started because KZread will NOT recommend you at all no matter how much you try to revive your channel by uploading frequently

But when is your own art ready for a YT channel? I've been at it for almost a year now and I still haven't reached the point where I could easily make 2-3 beats in a day. I easily spend a whole week on one. Simply because I experiment so much and still have problems creating good melodies etc.

honestly I'd just recommend leaving perfection behind. If melodies are hard to do, chop up your chords and make melodies that way.

dont settle for less. if it takes you that long , it takes you that long. you cant speed up the process of creativity . but you will get to a point where your ideas will flow and making good quality beats will be easier
